Availability
I offer flexible appointments Monday to Friday, with sessions available in person in Sandwich, Deal Kent, or online.
I ask clients to commit to either weekly or fortnightly sessions. Having a regular space for yourself helps us build a trusting therapeutic relationship and maintain continuity from one session to the next.
Meeting consistently gives us the opportunity to deepen our understanding of what you’re experiencing, notice patterns as they emerge and support you as you begin to make changes. It also allows us to stay connected to difficult feelings or experiences, with time between sessions to reflect and put new awareness into practice.
Longer gaps can make it harder to maintain this continuity, with more of our time spent catching up rather than exploring things in depth. For this reason, I offer ongoing counselling on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
We can discuss which frequency best suits your needs and circumstances during your free introductory call, and review this together as our work progresses.
About me and my therapy practice
You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself. Perhaps you find yourself repeating relationship patterns, questioning your worth or looking outside yourself for a sense of belonging. Or you may simply know that something needs to change, without knowing where to begin.
I’m Sarah, a BACP-registered integrative counsellor and founder of Three60 Therapy in Sandwich & Deal, Kent. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can feel heard, explore what matters to you and begin to make sense of your experiences. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear understanding of what’s wrong to start.
My approach is grounded in Gestalt therapy, which explores how past experiences may shape your feelings, relationships and responses in the present. I also draw on mindfulness, attachment and nervous system awareness, paying attention to both your emotional experience and how you feel in your body. We work at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Together, we can explore the beliefs and patterns that may once have protected you but now leave you feeling stuck. This might include putting others’ needs before your own, struggling with boundaries or feeling that you need to earn love and acceptance. Our work can help you develop greater awareness, self-compassion and trust in your own needs and choices.
Alongside counselling, my background in yoga and somatic practice informs my understanding of the connection between mind and body. Any practices we use are guided by your preferences and what feels helpful to you.
I offer sessions in person in Sandwich, Deal and online, for people aged 16 and over. A free 20-minute introductory call gives us an opportunity to meet, discuss what brings you to counselling and see whether working together feels right.
For me, therapy is about coming home to who you already are.
Practice description
At Three60 Therapy, I offer a space where you can put down the pressure to appear okay and speak openly about how life feels for you. All of your feelings are welcome, including those you find confusing, uncomfortable or difficult to explain.
My role is to listen carefully, help you explore your experience and support you in finding your own way forward. I bring warmth, curiosity and honesty to our work. At times, I may gently draw attention to patterns or contradictions, inviting us to explore them together without judgement.
Our sessions are collaborative. We might explore a current difficulty, a relationship, a past experience or something you notice happening between us in the room. I may invite you to pause and notice your feelings, thoughts or physical sensations, helping you become more aware of your experience in the present moment. Any exploration is an invitation, and you can always say when something doesn’t feel right for you.
There is no set script or expectation to make progress in a particular way. Some sessions may bring insight or relief; others may feel emotional or uncertain. We can make room for this and regularly check how you’re finding the work, what feels helpful and whether you need something different from me.
I aim to offer a relationship in which you feel respected, supported and able to be yourself. You are welcome to disagree, ask questions or tell me if you feel misunderstood. These conversations can be an important part of therapy.
Whether we meet online or in person, we’ll work together to understand your needs and support meaningful changes in your everyday life.
My first session
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, especially if you’re unsure what to expect. There’s no need to prepare the right words or know exactly what you want to work on. We can begin wherever you are.
Your free introductory call
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so we can get to know a little about each other before you decide whether to book a session.
We’ll talk briefly about what has brought you to counselling, what you’re hoping for and how I work. You’re welcome to ask questions and share any worries about starting therapy. We can also discuss practical details, including availability, fees and whether you would prefer online or in-person sessions.
You don’t need to share your whole story during this call. It’s an opportunity to get a sense of whether you feel comfortable talking with me, with no obligation to continue.
Before your first session
If you decide you’d like to work together, I’ll send you an assessment form to complete beforehand. This helps me understand a little more about your current circumstances, relevant history and what you would like support with. We can explore anything you’re unsure how to answer together.
Your first counselling session
Each session lasts 50 minutes. In our first meeting, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy in more depth and begin to understand what feels most important to you.
We’ll talk through our counselling agreement, including confidentiality and its limits, practical arrangements and any questions you may have. We can also discuss what you hope to gain from our work, even if that isn’t clear yet.
You choose how much you share. There is no expectation to talk about difficult experiences before you feel ready. My aim is to help you feel welcomed, heard and involved in shaping our work together.
You don’t need to arrive with everything worked out. Finding a place to begin is something we can do together.
