About me and my therapy practice
Hi there,
Finding the right counsellor can feel overwhelming, can’t it? Perhaps you’re looking for someone warm, approachable and easy to talk to. Someone who will genuinely listen, understand what you’re going through and help you make sense of things, without feeling judged or rushed.
My name is Kelly, and I’m a qualified integrative therapist. I work with adults and young people aged 16 and over, offering a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood and able to be yourself.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring our sessions to you and what you need. I support people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, ADHD traits, depression, family or relationship difficulties, burnout, overwhelm and intrusive thoughts, grief and loss, work issues and more. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted or unsure where to turn next.
You don’t have to keep trying to work everything out on your own. Therapy can give you the time and space to pause, understand what’s going on beneath the surface and begin to find a way forward that feels right for you.
Working with adults
I support adults who are navigating a wide range of challenges. This may include managing stress, rebuilding confidence, understanding anxiety, coping with relationship or family issues, exploring trauma, or finding new ways of dealing with emotional overwhelm. My approach is compassionate and grounded in creating a safe and trusting environment where you can explore express and navigate your experiences at your own pace.
I also work with young adults aged sixteen and over. Young people often come to me with exam stress, anxiety, peer pressures, emotional overwhelm or low self esteem. My goal is to offer a calm, supportive and non judgemental space where they can express themselves freely, develop resilience, get clarity and build confidence, self esteem and self worth while understanding their feelings.
Practice description
My approach is gentle, compassionate and centred around you. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, panic, overthinking, people-pleasing, trauma responses, OCD tendencies, grief, work-related stress or emotional overwhelm, our sessions offer a space to explore what you’re experiencing and begin to make sense of it.
Together, we can work towards helping you feel more grounded, understand your emotions, recognise unhelpful patterns and develop ways of coping that feel manageable in everyday life.
I’m also neurodiversity-aware, and many people come to therapy wondering whether they may have ADHD or autistic traits. You don’t need a formal diagnosis to explore these experiences. We can gently look at things such as emotional regulation, masking, sensory overload, rejection sensitivity and how your brain works best, helping you develop greater self-understanding and strategies that work for you.
There’s no pressure to have everything figured out before you come to therapy. You don’t need to know exactly what to say or where to begin. We can take things one step at a time, at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you.
My aim is to offer a calm, grounding and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe enough to explore what’s difficult, reconnect with yourself and begin to move towards a more balanced way of living.
Taking the first step
Reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially if you’re used to putting everyone else first or managing things on your own. You deserve a space where your feelings matter, too.
If you feel that working together might be right for you, I’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch to find out more or arrange an initial conversation. We can take that first step together, with no pressure and no expectation to have all the answers.
Therapy with me is about understanding yourself, trusting your own voice and finding greater clarity, confidence and balance in everyday life.
My first session
Free consultation
If you would like to chat about working together, I offer a free consultation. It is an informal conversation to help you get a sense of me and to see whether we feel like a good fit. I am here to help you take that first step towards the support you deserve.
I offer both short term and long term therapy depending on what feels right for you. Sessions are usually weekly but I am happy to work flexibly if you need something different.
My approach in the room
I offer a space where you can feel truly listened to, understood and accepted as you are.
I take the time to understand your experiences, helping you make sense of your thoughts, feelings and patterns without judgement. Together, we gently explore what may be sitting beneath your anxiety, self-doubt or feeling of being stuck, with patience, compassion and genuine care.

My private practice if looking for face to face is based in Eccleston Park, Prescott, in a peaceful garden therapy space. It is calm, quiet and surrounded by nature. It offers a private and gentle place for reflection and emotional rest. I also have a office private space in Kirkby and St Helens.
