About me and my therapy practice

I offer a space to slow down and make sense of what’s going on for you. My job is to make it feel safe enough to turn towards the difficult things, so that we can find a way forward, together.

At the heart of my practice is the relationship we build together. In each session, I’ll be guided by what feels important to you, as we explore your thoughts, feelings and memories. We’ll also pay attention to your bodily sensations, which can sometimes reveal deeper insights than reflection alone.

My training is in integrative psychotherapy, which means I draw on a range of approaches — humanistic, psychodynamic, and existential — depending on what feels most useful for you. My work is trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirmative.

Before my training, I spent time supporting people in vulnerable circumstances — including volunteering with people who have recently experienced homelessness, and caring for a family member through the final stages of their life. These experiences have shaped how I sit with people in grief, uncertainty and the hardest parts of being human.

Practice description

How long does therapy take?

For some people, a few sessions is enough, while others find it valuable to continue for much longer. After the introductory session, I usually suggest we begin with a block of 6 sessions, then take stock together and decide how to proceed. You’re free to end whenever it feels right for you.

Where do we meet?

In person, at 17 Havelock Rd, Hastings TN34 1BP, or online — whichever suits you best. Please note that the room is upstairs and there is no lift.

What are your qualifications?

I have an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University London. In addition, I attend regular training and professional development throughout the year.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute introductory session, in person or online, with no obligation. This is a chance to talk about what’s brought you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a feel for how I work — so you can see whether we’d be a good fit before committing to anything.
