I currently have space for new clients and offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can get a feel for how I work and see if it feels right for you.
I work with individuals and couples, usually weekly or fortnightly, online or in person in Ancoats, Manchester. My usual hours are Monday to Saturday, daytime and some early evenings. If I’m ever away for longer than usual, I’ll let you know in advance and we’ll plan around it.

About me and my therapy practice
I’m a person-centred, trauma-informed, and collaborative therapist, which means we’ll go at your pace and focus on what matters most to you.
I see therapy as a conversation, one where you can show up exactly as you are. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, reflect things back, and help you notice patterns you might not have seen before. But I won’t sit in silence while you try to guess what I’m thinking, and I won’t tell you who you “should” be.
People come to me for all kinds of reasons: anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, identity questions, burnout, or just that quiet sense that something isn’t right. Some people want to understand the deeper roots of what they’re carrying. Others just want to feel steadier day-to-day. There’s space for both.
We start where you are.

Beneath the Noise is about creating a quiet, supportive space where you can finally hear yourself again; beneath the anxiety, the overthinking, and the pressure to hold it all together.
Life can feel heavy, especially when you’ve been carrying more than your share. Maybe it’s anxiety that won’t let up, grief you haven’t quite named, old trauma that still lingers, or a sense of being stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand.
You don’t need to have all the answers, or even the right words. This is a space where you can show up just as you are, and we’ll figure it out together.
My first session
Before we begin, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call. It’s just a chance to meet, talk through what’s bringing you here, and see if it feels like a good fit, no need to prepare anything.
During the consultation, I’ll ask a few gentle questions to get a sense of what’s bringing you here and what you’d like support with. You can share as much or as little as you feel ready to, there’s no need to explain it perfectly. You’re also welcome to ask me anything about how I work or what to expect.
If you decide to continue, we’ll agree on a regular session time and I’ll send you a simple client agreement to look over before we start. Ongoing sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly, depending on what feels right for you, and last 50 minutes for individuals or 60 minutes for couples.
