About me and my therapy practice

Considering therapy but unsure where to begin? I am a psychotherapist offering face-to-face sessions in Henley-on-Thames and online, with space to explore what has brought you here.

I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space to talk about mental health or emotional difficulties. I listen to your experiences and hopes for change. Together, we work at a manageable pace, shaped around your needs.

You do not need everything worked out before starting. Bring whatever matters, even if it is hard to put into words. We can explore what feels painful or unresolved, reconnect with your values and consider how you want to move forward.

My Therapeutic Approach

As a trained integrative psychotherapist, I draw on several approaches to find ways of working that suit you. Therapy is a shared process, with attention to our relationship and what feels useful to you.

Patterns in how you relate to others or speak to yourself may have begun in childhood as ways to maintain love, approval or closeness. What once helped you feel safer may now limit your needs and feelings.

We can gently explore these patterns without judgement or pressure to change, understanding what they helped you manage and whether they still serve you. This can create more room for choice, with less influence from old, punishing rules.

Sharing painful or traumatic experiences can feel daunting. We can take time to build trust; you need not share everything at once. I bring steadiness and curiosity, supporting honest conversation and working through misunderstandings as we explore emotional pain, uncertainty and choices.

About Me

Before training as a therapist, I worked in financial services. Seeking more personal meaning and purpose brought me back to questions of life and identity first explored in my undergraduate Philosophy degree, and led me to Psychotherapy.

Practice description

I know life can feel complicated and overwhelming at times, and reaching out for support can take a lot of vulnerability. It can be hard to navigate difficult emotions and feelings, and it can be incredibly lonely when you feel misunderstood or unheard.

... But with the right support so much can be achieved.

I'm an integrative therapist with a Masters in Psychotherapy and a Registered member of the BACP. I work with adults (18+) navigating a wide range of issues, including:

This is not an exhaustive list, but it gives an indication of the support I offer:

· Anxiety and persistent worry

· Trauma, including difficult or painful childhood experiences

· Bereavement, grief and other experiences of loss

· Experiences surrounding abortion

· Relationship difficulties

· OCD-related concerns

· Identity, gender and sexuality

· Self-esteem

· Suicidal thoughts

· Neurodiversity

· Infertility and reproductive concerns including miscarriage

· Pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, including postnatal depression

· Menopause and other life-stage transitions

· Burnout and chronic health conditions

Life becomes even harder to cope with when anxiety or self-doubt take hold, and friendships or relationships can start to feel challenging as well.

Therapy can help to untangle the confusion and provide a relationship that feels safe and non-judgemental. My therapeutic approach is to establish a solid working relationship where we can together explore the experiences and sources of distress.

Book a no obligation 15-minute call with me and we can find out if it would be the right fit for you. Or send me an enquiry and we can arrange a suitable time.
