I offer both in-person and online sessions, Monday to Thursday. In-person sessions take place at my practice in Fitzrovia, W1, and online sessions are available via secure video call for clients who prefer, or need, to work remotely.

About me and my therapy practice

I'm Veronica Pathmanabhan, a BACP registered psychotherapist and awaiting my UKCP Accreditation working in private practice in Fitzrovia, London. I hold a Master's degree and Postgraduate Diploma in psychotherapy, and I work both independently and alongside colleagues within a group practice.

My approach draws on psychodynamic, person-centred, relational, psychoanalytical, and solution-focused ways of working. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model of therapy — I tailor how I work to the person in front of me, moving between exploring the roots of a difficulty and finding practical, forward-facing ways through it, depending on what's most useful at the time.

I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients, and I aim to offer a space that's affirming, flexible, and genuinely responsive to different ways of thinking and processing the world. More broadly, I work with people who are simply struggling with life — with their mental and emotional wellbeing, and with the ordinary and extraordinary pressures that come with it.

Practice description

Sessions are 50 minutes long. I see adults (18+) and work in English.

My first session

Our first session is a consultation and assessment. I want to understand what's brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to achieve, and where you feel you need extra support. I'll also explain a little about how I work and what I'd recommend going forward — including whether short-term or longer-term work might suit you best — so you have a clear sense of what to expect before we continue.
