About me and my therapy practice

Many people come to therapy because something in life has stopped working. They may feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to change, struggle with anxiety or shame, feel low and lost, or find relationships and life transitions harder than expected.

I offer psychotherapy that focuses on helping you understand yourself more deeply – how you relate, how you experience the world and what may be keeping you stuck – so that change becomes possible, life is lived authentically and becomes more fulfilled and meaningful.

I am a BACP registered psychotherapist and counsellor, trained to Master’s level in existential psychotherapy and counselling, with postgraduate training in integrative therapy and a diploma in cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy. I have been working as a therapist for seven years.

Therapy begins with listening. That sounds simple, but is not that common. I take the time to listen carefully so that what matters to you can be spoken about openly.

I work with adults of all backgrounds in London and online.

In-person sessions are held at Number 42, a London Bridge Psychotherapy practice – www.number42.org.uk

Practice description

I work on the principle that people are both self-discovered and self-created. We will work together towards understanding your situation in life - your history, your values, your fears and defences, your circumstances. We then explore how you respond to your situation both consciously and unconsciously. What do you still have to understand about your situation? How might you choose to respond to circumstance and events differently?

This sounds simple but can be daunting and emotional. I hold the space so that you can start to feel comfortable talking about daunting and emotionally uncomfortable things. There is no judgement with me. I am here to listen - really listen.
