About me and my therapy practice
I am a psychotherapist and lecturer based in London, currently completing my doctoral training in counselling psychology. My work is grounded in relational depth, trauma-informed, and integrative psychological thinking. I am particularly interested in how early relational experiences, dissociation, and unconscious processes shape present-day life, often beneath high functioning, insight, or achievement.
I believe therapy is most effective when it offers both depth and understanding, alongside practical support for everyday difficulties. My approach is relational-psychodynamic and existential, meaning we explore how past experiences and ways of relating show up in the present, while also attending to questions of meaning, identity, and choice. Where helpful, I integrate cognitive behavioural methods to support coping, grounding, and change. I have worked across NHS inpatient settings, including psychosis services and complex CAMHS, as well as in adult private practice. Alongside my clinical work, I also teach and supervise trainee therapists at university level.
Practice description
I offer a calm, consistent, and engaged therapeutic space where we can think together about what is difficult, painful, or unresolved. I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels manageable, paying close attention to the therapeutic relationship itself as a central part of the work.
I am deeply committed to my clients and to the therapeutic process, and I value honesty, care, and mutual respect. If you are considering therapy, you are welcome to get in touch to explore whether working together feels right for you.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and begin to get a sense of whether working together feels right. We will focus on what brings you to therapy at this point in your life, and I will invite you to share at a pace that feels manageable. I pay close attention to how the therapeutic relationship begins to take shape, and I encourage you to notice how you experience me and our interaction. We will only continue if it feels like a good fit for both of us, as therapy is a collaborative process grounded in choice, consent, and mutual engagement from the outset.
