About me and my therapy practice
Personalised therapy where you can feel safe, supported and, at times, thoughtfully challenged as you explore what matters to you.
You may be feeling depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure about your life's direction. Perhaps you are coping with a difficult transition, loss or relationship difficulties, noticing recurring patterns, or feeling that something needs to change.
Finding the right therapist for you
I know first-hand how overwhelming it can feel to find the right therapist. Although I have outlined my experience, qualifications and how I work below, a call is often the best way to get a sense of whether a therapist feels right for you. I offer a free 15-minute call, with no expectation. It is an opportunity to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see whether it feels like a good fit.
About me and how I work
I am a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and an ICF accredited Leadership Executive Coach. I work with adults who want space to understand themselves more deeply, process emotional difficulties, and explore what feels meaningful and right for them.
Alongside my therapy work, I have supported leaders and professionals in corporate settings, particularly within professional and financial services. This gives me insight into ambition, demanding roles, competing expectations, leadership, burnout, identity and change, and allows me to bring coaching-informed clarity into therapeutic work where useful.
You may have been thinking about therapy for some time, be feeling in crisis, or be facing a specific difficulty, loss, transition or life change. Or perhaps you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why something in your life does not feel quite right.
Whatever brings you here, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect and make sense of what you are experiencing. My aim is to support you as you develop self-understanding, process difficult emotions, build resilience, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Practice description
Working online via Zoom or in person, depending on your location and preferences, our work together is grounded in safety, confidentiality, and a genuinely non-judgemental relationship. I work primarily in a person centred way, meaning we focus on what you need rather than following a fixed formula.
Drawing on my integrative training, I use a range of evidence based approaches, including humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural therapies, and together we find what works best for you.
I care deeply about helping my clients thrive. Many have shared that they value my authenticity and the safe space I create, where they feel able to speak openly, sometimes for the first time. There is no pressure or expectation; we move at your pace, focusing on what feels most important and manageable for you.
My first session
The quality of the relationship with your therapist is at the heart of success in therapy. For this reason it is important for you to feel completely comfortable with the therapist you select. It is not unusual to meet with a number of therapists to find the right one for you.
For this reason I offer a discounted rate of £60 for our initial session before we commit to working together.
Types of therapy
Behavioural, Brief therapy, CBT, Cognitive, Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Internal Family Systems, Person centred, Psychodynamic, Relational, Solution focused brief therapy
Clients I work with
Adults, Older adults
How I deliver therapy
Long term sessions, Online therapy, Outdoor therapy, Short term sessions
