About me and my therapy practice
Do you find yourself doing or saying destructive things that you later regret?
Have you been feeling inadequate, overwhelmed, anxious or depressed?
Are you stuck in loops of overthinking, arrested by your insecurities, feeling demotivated or exhausted by painful relationships?
If so, reach out to see if confidential, non-judgemental talking therapy can help you!
I believe our relationships - with partners, family, colleagues, and most importantly, ourselves - shape how we experience the world and what we think is possible or out-of-reach. Together and entirely at your pace, we will gently explore the patterns that hold you back, look at where they come from, and figure out what you need to move forward and feel better about yourself and your world.
Practice description
My Background & Training
As a Masters-trained, registered Member of the BACP with over 5 years of experience, I completed a rigorous degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Roehampton. During this leading and highly-competitive training, I studied Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and CBT among others.
Rather than putting you in a single box, I draw on all of these modalities to create a unique approach tailored entirely to your needs.
A Flexible, Client-Led Approach
Despite my deep grounding in research and theory, I appreciate that your needs change from week to week. If we are working through chronic, enduring issues (like trauma, depression, or addiction) but you come to a session feeling overwhelmed by a sudden fight with a loved one or acute work stress, we pivot. We will always tackle what feels most urgent to you on the day; safely bridging immediate relief with deeper, long-term healing.
How We Will Work Together
Despite my clinical training, research indicates that what matters most in therapy is your relationship with your therapist. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I do not sit in silence nodding or offering textbook answers. Instead, we work as a team.
As one client put it:
"It really feels like 2 friends talking which has greatly contributed to the progress we have made. With other therapists I always had a feeling of dread knowing I had a session booked but I actually look forward to our chats.”
While the topics we explore can be serious, therapy does not always have to feel heavy. There is room in our sessions to laugh, as well as cry, helping you leave feeling lighter and brighter.
Working Safely Online
I currently work exclusively online via secure video calls. This allows you to engage in therapy from the comfort, safety and privacy of your own space.
If working in person is of interest to you (e.g. home visit, outdoors, in a therapy room), please let me know and we can see what can be arranged.

Your Next Steps
Taking the first step can feel daunting, so I keep the process simple:
Get in touch: Send me a brief message via the contact form letting me know of your interest. You don't need to go into detail here.
Introductory call: We will arrange a free, no-obligation, 15-minute phone consultation to get a feel for one another, and to outline the issues you are facing and see if I feel well-placed to help.
Your first session: If you decide you do want to move forward with therapy, we will use the first session to better understand your challenges in more depth, and explore your what you want to get from therapy, at a pace that feels safe and right for you.
Please reach out today to schedule your free call. I look forward to hearing from you and learning about your world.
