About me and my therapy practice
A Warm Welcome,
How Therapy Can Make A Positive Difference In Your Life
Our earliest relationships shape how we love, trust and cope with closeness and distance. Understanding this can bring great compassion and clarity. It matters, because many of us carry these patterns into our adult life.
We can move towards thriving instead of just surviving.
In my couples work, I draw on training in working with attachment styles, conflict, communication and differences between the couples and dealing with affairs. Whether you're feeling disconnected, stuck in the same arguments or rebuilding trust after a rupture. I'll help you both feel heard and find your way back towards each other.
In our individual work (Adults age 18 and over), we'll explore how past relationships shape the present and find new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Navigating anxiety, depression, low mood or loss of confidence can be so challenging. As well as going through grief, relationship/intimacy issues, family problems or life changes such as miscarriage, pregnancy or parenthood. But you don't have to face these challenges alone.
I work with wide range of issues. I am here when you are ready.
I offer counselling online, giving you the flexibility for you.
I have completed BACP-accredited training in online and telephone therapy which ensures that I can provide professional, safe and effective support remotely.

Practice description
My Approach
My aim is to support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings, when it's needed gently challenging what might have been in your blind spots. Helping you join the dots between the past and present.
As a therapist, I value collaboration and relational approach. Respecting your autonomy and supporting your growing self-awareness is important to me. I believe that therapy is not effective without trust and openness between myself and my clients.
My work is attachment informed and I integrate range of humanistic approaches, including Person-Centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis theories and methods. Because we are all different, by drawing on these approaches, I can adapt the therapy to meet your individual needs. I have continuing professional development in attachment theory, relational and creative approaches.
Working together
I see counselling as a joint process and the relationship between client and counsellor is central to meaningful therapeutic work. By creating and nurturing a companionate environment built on acceptance, openness, and genuine connection, you can begin to uncover your own resources to heal, grow and thrive.
Ethical Practice
I strive to offer an ethical and high-quality practice guided by BACP ethical standards. I regularly participate in supervision and continuing professional development to maintain the highest standard of care for those I work with. I have an indemnity insurance.
