About me and my therapy practice
A Calm, Compassionate and Confidential Space to Be Heard. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, feeling stress and overwhelmed, facing bereavement and loss, having relationship challenges, feeling lonely or isolated or going through life changes such as parenthood, empty-nest, menopause, retirement, I will help and support you to make sense of it and find steadier ground.
I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can talk openly about your unique experience without fear of judgement, at your pace.
As a Humanistic counsellor, my integrative practice allows me to tailor therapy to your individual needs. I believe that there is no single approach that fits everyone. My aim is to support you in exploring your thought and feelings at your own pace, helping you gain greater clarity and self-understanding.
Taking the first step toward counselling takes real courage, and I deeply respect your decision to begin this journey that opens the door to exploration, healing and self-care. But you don't have to alone to face them.
I am here when you're ready.
Working together
I see counselling as a collaborative process and the relationship between client and counsellor is central to meaningful therapeutic work. By creating and nurturing a companionate environment built on acceptance, openness, and genuine connection, you can begin to uncover your own capacity to heal, grow and thrive.
Therapy works best when you show up open to exploring your thoughts, feelings and patterns even when the work feels uncomfortable at times.
Ethical Practice
I stive to offer an ethical and high-quality practice guided by BACP ethical standards. I regularly participate in supervision and continuing professional development to maintain the highest standard of care for those I work with. I have an indemnity insurance.
Alongside my private practice, I also work within charitable organisation.
Practice description
I offer counselling both in-person and online, giving you the flexibility to choose the format that feels right for you. I have completed BACP-accredited training in online and telephone therapy which ensures that I can provide professional, safe and effective support remotely.
Where I work
My private practice is based in a thoughtfully created counselling room located in Teddington, Richmond upon Thames and easily accessible by public transport.
