About me and my therapy practice
Alot of us grew up hearing things about therapy that made it feel...not for us. I'm here to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and safe to explore your story in your own way.
Practice description
I’m an integrative therapist, which means I blend various therapeutic approaches to create a plan that meets your unique needs. My approach is rooted in the belief that the collaborative relationship between a counsellor and client is the foundation of meaningful therapeutic work. I will walk alongside you in this sometimes unfamiliar landscape, helping you make sense of what’s going on, so you can gain clarity, understanding, and move forward with greater ease and purpose. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, or relationship issues, my role is to support you as you explore at your own pace.
My approach begins with a free 20-minute consultation, giving us a chance to briefly connect, explore what’s bringing you to therapy, and see if I feel like the right fit for you.
My first session
In our first full session, the focus is on building a safe, trusting relationship. We’ll take time to understand your experiences, what matters most to you, and gently begin to shape what you’d like to achieve from therapy. We will set realistic goals to work on
This isn’t rushed , it’s about creating a space where you feel comfortable to be yourself.
From there, our work becomes more collaborative and focused, with regular reviews every 6 weeks to reflect on your progress, revisit your goals, and ensure therapy is supporting you in the way you need.
