About me and my therapy practice

Professional support for life’s turning points.

A confidential space to explore what matters to you.

I’m Cara, a fully qualified relational integrative psychotherapist based in London, offering both face-to-face and online therapy for adults (18+).

Life is an ongoing process of growth and self-understanding, as we seek to make sense of who we are and the experiences that shape us. Along the way, we encounter change, uncertainty, and challenge. Having a supportive relationship and a safe space to explore things together can make a meaningful difference in these challenging moments.

I aim to provide a calm, supportive setting that allows space for understanding, healing, and change and where you can bring all parts of yourself. My work is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and respect for your unique experience. Together, we can explore what has brought you here and gently uncover the ways your past and present experiences shape how you think, feel, and relate.

I work with individuals experiencing a range of common mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relational problems, self-esteem, neurodiversity, managing, expressing and connecting with emotions, relational issues, family difficulties and issues relating to ageing and more.

I am fully insured as a private practioner.

Practice description

At its core, therapy is a collaborative relationship. We will work together to explore what matters most to you, at a pace and depth that feels right for you. It is my belief that it is the relationship that heals, in relationally focussed integrative therapy, the most important thing is building a relationship based on trust, honesty, and without judgment. We’ll work together to find supportive techniques to help you manage difficulties in ways that feel meaningful and suited to your experiences.

I believe therapy works best when it honours each person’s individuality. As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of approaches, shaping our work together around what feels most helpful for you. Rather than leading with theory, I prioritise building an understanding of your personal experience.

Therapy is not only a place to seek support during difficult times, but also a space to invest in yourself, deepen self-understanding, and create a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling. It offers the opportunity to strengthen your relationship with yourself and develop inner resources that help you navigate life with greater confidence, clarity, and self-trust.

The process and length of our work will be shaped around your individual needs. I provide both open-ended and short-term therapy sessions.

My first session

The first session is a chance for us to meet and begin getting to know each other. I may ask some questions about your background and what has led you to seek therapy, and we will talk about what you hope to gain from the process. It is also an opportunity for you to see how it feels to work with me. Finding the right therapist is important, so there is no obligation to continue after this initial meeting.
