About me and my therapy practice

As an integrative counsellor , I draw on a range of approaches to tailor therapy to meet your unique needs. I work collaboratively, creating a safe , non judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood. As a therapist , my role is to support you and facilitate your emotional growth - you are the expert in this relationship and I will be led by you and will work at your own pace. There is no rush in this relationship , trust takes time and patience and within this safe space you will become the person you deserve to be.

My first session

First sessions can feel difficult for both the therapist and the client, as we are just getting to know one another and building a sense of trust. Starting therapy can be challenging, especially when you’re asked to share personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences with someone new.

I aim to put myself in your shoes—I would want to feel welcomed, safe, and treated with respect, empathy, and humility. I strive to offer that same environment to you.

You are in control of what you choose to share, and we will go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. This is a confidential and non-judgmental space where we can begin to explore what has brought you here.

We will work together to understand your experiences and what you hope to gain from therapy, and I will support you throughout that process.

My practice combines person-centred, psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques – allowing me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs, whether you’re looking to understand the past, navigate the present, or plan for the future.

Many people describe me as a warm and kind person who helps them feel safe, visible, and secure. I listen deeply and work at your pace, supporting you as you begin to reconnect with yourself and move forward in life.
