About me and my therapy practice
We all reach moments when we need extra support; when relationships feel stuck, life feels overwhelming, or we’ve simply lost our sense of direction.
I’m Louise, a psychotherapist based in Ealing and online. I help people move from anxiety, self-doubt and emotional disconnection toward greater clarity, confidence and resilience.
Many clients come to me after trying to cope alone for too long. Talking to someone who truly listens - without judgment and with genuine understanding - can be the turning point. My approach centres on helping you feel grounded, connected, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
I offer a warm, inclusive space where you can explore what’s holding you back and develop tools to move forward. I support clients with:
• Relationship challenges
• Anxiety and depression
• Low self-esteem and imposter syndrome
• Life transitions
• Perfectionism
• Childhood and adult trauma
Inclusivity sits at the heart of my practice. I welcome people of all backgrounds, genders and sexualities, and provide a confidential environment where you can feel safe, supported and fully seen.
Why work with me?
Having been through divorce and the realities of building a blended family, I bring grounded empathy to those navigating relationship changes or rebuilding after separation.
My background in the legal profession means I understand the pressure, pace and expectations of corporate life. I help high-achieving clients break unhelpful patterns, reduce stress and create a healthier, more fulfilling balance.
My experience as a Samaritan strengthened my ability to be fully present and listen deeply during times of deep distress. I bring that same compassion, steadiness and respect for your unique story into every session.
If you’re ready to feel more connected, more confident and more in control of your life, I’m here to help you take the next step.
Practice description
I am a BACP registered therapist with a first Class BSc in Humanistic Counselling.

How I work
I work humanistically, meaning that although our sessions will be guided by me, they are led by you.
My approach combines elements of Gestalt, Person-Centred, and Transactional Analysis therapies. From a Gestalt perspective, I pay attention to what’s happening for you in the present moment and how your emotions, thoughts, and body are connected. The Person-Centred approach brings warmth, empathy, and respect for your autonomy, creating a non-judgmental space where you can explore at your own pace. Transactional Analysis helps us understand patterns in your relationships and the ways you communicate, offering insight into how past experiences may still shape how you relate to yourself and others today. Together, these approaches support greater self-awareness, choice, and personal growth.
However, beyond these theoretical labels, what underpins everything is establishing a strong therapeutic relationship between us and working collaboratively to achieve your goals.
Fundamentally, I believe that there is real value in talking to someone who has the skill and experience to listen in a way that allows us to feel understood, seen and heard - perhaps for the first time. I am committed to fostering a warm, inclusive relationship based on respect, curiosity and acceptance.
My first session
This is how we might work together:
Step 1: Enquiry - FREE initial consultation
I understand that taking that first step to seeking therapy can be daunting, but I try to make this as easy as possible by offering a FREE initial 15-minute call as an opportunity to learn more about my approach and ask any questions you may have.
My goal is to ensure you feel informed, supported, and confident before taking the next step. If you then wish to proceed, we can arrange an initial session.
Step 2: First session - at HALF PRICE
Our first full session gives you the opportunity to explain your situation and to see how therapy feels.
It is also a chance to see if we are a good fit for one another - a fundamental factor in successful therapy and why I offer this session at HALF PRICE as we explore this together.
There is no pressure to begin regular therapy beyond this point.
Step 3: Continuing Therapy
Should you wish to start regular therapy following our initial session, we will meet for 50-minutes on a weekly basis.
After the first few sessions, we will have a review to see how you are finding our work together. We will discuss whether you’d like to continue working with an open-ended agreement, for a fixed number of sessions or to end therapy. You are in control.
