Availability
I currently offer sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with some flexibility depending on availability and individual circumstances. I do not currently work on Wednesdays.
Please feel free to get in touch to discuss current availability, as this can change over time.
I will be taking some time away from practice during the month of June. However, I will still be responding to enquiries during this time, and sessions can be arranged for July onwards.
About me and my therapy practice
I believe therapy begins when we feel truly heard by another person, perhaps sometimes for the first time.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. We may find ourselves carrying anxiety, grief, shame, relationship struggles, low self-worth, or simply feeling disconnected from ourselves and others. Often people come to counselling because they are tired of coping alone.
My approach is person-centred and relational. I aim to offer a calm, compassionate space where you can slow down and explore whatever is going on for you, at your own pace, without judgement.
I work gently and honestly, with empathy and respect for your individual experience. I believe that when people feel safe enough to be themselves, something meaningful can begin to shift.
I have experience supporting people through addiction, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, and periods of change and uncertainty.
Practice description
I offer person-centred counselling in a calm, compassionate, and reflective space where you can come exactly as you are.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel difficult, particularly when you are used to coping alone, carrying a lot for others, or struggling to put into words what you are feeling. My hope is that our sessions feel grounded, human, and genuinely supportive.
My way of working is relational and collaborative. I aim to walk alongside you with warmth, honesty, and respect for your individual experience, allowing space for deeper understanding, healing, and self-acceptance to emerge over time.
I also welcome people from all faiths, spiritual backgrounds, or none at all. Conversations around meaning, spirituality, identity, and what matters most to you are welcome within the therapeutic space, if they feel important to your process.
I offer in-person, online, and walk-and-talk sessions.
My first session
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another.
There is no pressure to share everything straight away. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. The session is a chance for you to talk a little about what has brought you to counselling, what may be going on for you, and what you hope for from therapy.
It is also an opportunity for us to explore whether we are a good fit. Having a sense of ease, trust, and being genuinely heard within the therapeutic relationship is important.
We will also go through some of the practical aspects of counselling, including confidentiality, session timings, boundaries, and any questions you may have. My hope is that you leave the session with a clearer sense of the process and whether counselling with me feels right for you.
