About me and my therapy practice

If you're struggling, you're not alone. No matter how you’re feeling, you’re never too young, too old or too late to ask for help.

I can support you in a warm, inclusive space as you navigate life's challenges. Together, we will explore what you are going through and gently find a way forward towards healing, self-acceptance, emotional resilience and peace of mind. I will be with you on your journey of meaningful change, going at a pace that feels right for you.

Practice description

I have experience working within the NHS and the charitable sectors as well as my private online and in person practice. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, shaped around your unique needs. Drawing on a range of therapeutic models, I will support you in a creative way that honours your story, your pace, and your goals

I provide space for you to explore difficult emotions, recurring patterns or life experiences that may feel too heavy or complex to share elsewhere. Whether you're navigating a challenging period or seeking deeper self-understanding, I aim to create a nurturing environment where you can explore new ways of being, develop emotional resilience and cultivate greater compassion and understanding for yourself.

I work from an inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming perspective and offer a safe and supportive space for all clients.

You don’t have to do it alone. Reach out to begin your journey towards healing and connection

My first session

Whether you’re brand new to therapy or dipping your toes back in, finding the right counsellor can feel a bit overwhelming, so many choices and wondering if we’ll get along. To make things easier, I offer a free 15 minute call. It’s a chance for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see if we’re a good fit, without any pressure to commit. Taking that first step can feel daunting, but it’s also a wonderfully brave choice to put yourself first

I offer:

Long-term therapy (20 weeks and beyond)

Short-term therapy (6 to 20 weeks)

Sessions are 50 minutes long, held weekly, and available either:

Online

In person

Our first session will feel a little different. It’s your chance to get a sense of whether I’m the right fit for you, and mine to learn more about what’s brought you here. Think of it as a gentle starting point rather than diving straight in at the deep end. We’ll take time to look at where you are now, what you’d like to work on, and how I can best support you.

Ongoing counselling sessions then become your space, a calm corner away from the business of everyday life. We’ll spend the time exploring whatever feels most important to you, whether that’s untangling tricky thoughts, finding new ways to cope, or simply having someone listen without judgement. There’s no script and no rush, just steady steps at your pace, with empathy and compassion along the way
