About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Aqua, an integrative psychotherapist born in Italy and based in the UK.
I have experience working in private practice and charitable counselling services.
I focus on creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you feel genuinely heard and where we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
Therapy isn't about someone telling you how to live your life. Together, we can develop a deeper understanding of yourself, recognise patterns that may no longer serve you, and work towards meaningful change.
My professional training began at Regent's University, London and continues to be enhanced through clinical supervision and training courses, ensuring an ethical and thoughtful practice.
My work is predominantly relational and draws upon a range of evidence informed approaches including Humanistic, Attachment-based, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Cognitive, Systemic and Transpersonal perspectives. This allows therapy to be adapted to each individual rather than expecting individuals to adapt to one model.
Practice description
No two people are the same, so there isn’t one approach that works for everyone.
Integrative psychotherapy brings together different evidence-informed approaches, allowing the therapy process to be co-created and adapted to your individual needs, rather than asking you to fit into a single model.
Some people benefit from understanding how their past influences the present. Others find it helpful to focus on their current relationships, emotions or practical ways of coping with everyday challenges. Often, therapy involves a combination of these.
