About me and my therapy practice
I’m a qualified integrative therapist and hypnotherapist, registered with both the BACP and NCPS, offering a grounded, relational approach to therapy. My practice draws on psychodynamic thinking, cognitive approaches, and trauma-informed care to support clients through life’s complexities — from anxiety and depression to low self-esteem, addiction, grief, identity struggles, and relationship issues.
Before retraining as a therapist, I spent a decade in the financial sector. That experience gave me deep insight into high-pressure environments, emotional suppression, and the costs of “coping” rather than truly processing. I bring that understanding into my work, helping clients feel safe enough to drop the mask and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.
My clients often describe me as warm, reflective, and straightforward. I don’t sit in silence or nod passively — I’ll engage with you, offer insights, and walk alongside you as we make sense of the patterns that keep you
Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or experiencing a general sense of overwhelm or dissatisfaction, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, understand what you need, and move forward with clarity.
I offer both short-term and longer-term work depending on your goals. Sessions are available online and in-person across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and London
Practice description
My therapy practice provides a safe and reflective space where you can slow down, unpack what’s happening in your life, and begin to make sense of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that are troubling you.
I work integratively — drawing from a range of approaches including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural tools, inner child work, and hypnotherapy. This means sessions are tailored to your unique personality, history, and goals, rather than using a rigid, one-size-fits-all model.
Areas I commonly work with include anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, pornography and sex addiction, emotional dysregulation, grief, trauma, and identity crises. I’m particularly experienced in supporting people who are functioning well on the outside but feel lost, disconnected, or self-critical on the inside.
In addition to private clients, I also work via BetterHelp and have supported dozens of individuals across the UK with diverse emotional and psychological needs. My style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and thoughtful. I may offer gentle challenge when needed, but always with respect and empathy.
I believe therapy should feel like a conversation with depth — not a clinical interrogation or a vague chat. Together, we’ll build a therapeutic relationship based on honesty, safety, and curiosity, allowing you to develop greater insight, resilience, and emotional freedom.
Sessions are available online and in-person. I also offer structured support for individuals struggling with porn or sex addiction through a dedicated recovery program.
My first session
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what’s bringing you to therapy. It’s not a free consultation, but it is a full 50-minute therapeutic session charged at my standard rate.
In our initial meeting, I’ll invite you to talk about what’s been happening in your life — what feels stuck, painful, confusing, or hard to manage. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story at once; you can go at your own pace. Some people come with a clear issue in mind, while others just feel something isn’t right. Either is completely welcome.
I’ll also ask some gentle questions about your background, what support (if any) you’ve had before, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. I’ll explain how I work, what you can expect from me, and how we might approach the issues you’re facing.
You’re under no obligation to commit to ongoing sessions after the first — it’s about seeing if we’re the right fit. If we decide to continue, we’ll agree a regular day and time for your sessions and begin the deeper work.
If you’re unsure or nervous, that’s completely understandable. Many people feel a little apprehensive about starting therapy. My aim is to create a calm, supportive space where you can begin to feel safe, understood, and gently held as you begin your therapeutic journey.
