About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Faye. My approach to counselling is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves to thrive. I offer a warm, safe and inclusive space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted without judgement.

I work collaboratively with individuals to explore their experiences, develop greater self-awareness and find ways to move forward with confidence. Alongside my counselling practice, I am also a qualified REWIND practitioner, offering trauma-focused support for those affected by distressing or traumatic experiences.

I work with individuals aged 10 and above, tailoring my approach to meet each person's unique needs.

Practice description

I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs, recognising that no two people are the same. Alongside traditional talking therapy, I can incorporate creative approaches such as drawing and sand play.

I have particular experience in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and those that are neurodivergent. I am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive and compassionate space for all.

I offer face-to-face sessions in a safe, welcoming and confidential setting in Chepstow, as well as online sessions for those who prefer the flexibility of remote counselling.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute online introductory session, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions and decide whether you feel I am the right counsellor for you.

If you choose to continue, our first session will focus on establishing our working agreement. We will discuss confidentiality, safeguarding and any hopes or goals you may have for counselling. This will ensure you have a clear understanding of how we will work together.

As counselling is led by your individual needs, there is no fixed limit on the number of sessions you can have. We will regularly review our work together and decide what feels most beneficial for you.
