About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel overwhelmed, numb, stuck or unsure of yourself? Are you living with loss or change that feels heavy, complicated or hard to navigate? I offer a steady, compassionate presence as you find your way forward.
This could be something that has affected you recently or something you have been carrying from the past that still impacts you today. My work is led by you. I offer a non-judgemental, supportive relationship where you do not need to have the right words or know where to start. I will not push for solutions or tell you how you should be feeling. Instead, I will walk alongside you as you explore what this means to you and what you need now.
I have experience working with children, adults, and older adults across charitable organisations and private practice, supporting clients through a wide range of emotional challenges and life transitions.
Through my work with Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire, I supported older adults experiencing bereavement, loneliness, social isolation, health changes, and later-life adjustment. I also worked with KidsAid, providing counselling for children and young people across Northamptonshire, supporting issues including bullying, neurodiversity-related challenges, anxiety, low self-esteem, and experiences of change and loss.
In my private practice, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties, and I work with companies to provide counselling support for employees facing workplace uncertainty and redundancy.
My work is grounded in person-centred principles, offering an empathetic, respectful and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported at their own pace.
Practice description
I am a person-centred counsellor offering a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever feels important to you at your own pace. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with empathy, respect and genuine understanding as you make sense of your experiences.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including loss and bereavement, life changes, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, low mood, and feelings of being overwhelmed or stuck. Together, we create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, acceptance and openness, allowing you the freedom to explore your thoughts and emotions safely.
To make therapy accessible and comfortable, I offer sessions in a variety of formats to suit your needs and lifestyle:
- In-person counselling in a calm, confidential setting.
- Online therapy via secure video sessions.
- Telephone counselling for flexibility and privacy.
- Walk and talk therapy, combining the benefits of nature and movement with therapeutic conversation in various locations around Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. You don't need a high level of fitness for these and I can tailor these to every individual.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step. My aim is to provide a compassionate, collaborative space where you feel heard, valued and supported as you move towards greater self-understanding and emotional wellbeing.
