My approach
I am an Integrative counsellor, and my approach draws primarily from psychodynamic and person-centred therapy, tailored to your individual needs. Sessions typically range from short-term (6-12 sessions) to longer-term work depending on your needs. We'll review our progress regularly to ensure therapy remains helpful.
I provide online counselling services. Sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes on a weekly basis, offering the consistency essential for effective therapeutic progress.
My background
Life experience has shaped me. Personal counselling helped me find my voice, prioritise wellbeing, and set boundaries, leading to more genuine and fulfilling relationships.
With over twenty years of experience in the voluntary and education sector working with marginalised groups. I have supported people who struggle to put their own needs first because of adverse childhood and life experiences,
I have helped individuals who find it difficult to express themselves, set boundaries, and take time for self-care often putting others' needs above their own. I understand from personal experience how challenging this can be, but I also know the profound difference that a safe, supportive space to talk can make. My background means I genuinely appreciate your struggles and am well-equipped to help you discover your authentic self and live a life that honours your own needs and aspirations.
My first session
I use a simple contract that outlines how I work, confidentiality, and my cancellation policy. Before our first session, I’ll email it to you. I collect personal details to keep on record and require an emergency contact, both of which need to be submitted prior to the first session.
During our first initial phone call, we will start to explore what’s brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to achieve, and address any questions you might have about the therapy I offer. There’s no obligation tied to the initial meeting, it’s simply an opportunity to see if we’re a good fit to work together. If you decide to proceed, I will schedule your first appointment, which includes an assessment.

If you choose to move forward, counselling sessions are held weekly.
Cost: Each session is priced at £60.
