About me and my therapy practice

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches because everyone’s experiences and needs are unique. My work is tailored to you.

Foremost, I aim to build a warm, trusting relationship where you feel truly heard and understood. I work gently and at your pace, always respecting your sense of safety, choice, and control, free from pressure or judgment.

I also draw on my psychology background to help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings, and to support your personal growth, self-understanding and healing.

I work from a dedicated office in Rugby.

Practice description

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Open University and a Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Northampton.

I have worked with both young people and adults facing a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges. My experience includes school wellbeing support, counselling at Mind, and working with survivors of sexual abuse at Rosa.

Alongside my counselling practice, I deliver trauma training for Rosa and teach CPCAB Level 2 Counselling Skills in Nuneaton.

In my practice, I integrate a range of techniques including inner child work, visualisation, psychoeducation, Gestalt methods, and therapeutic writing. I aim to provide a safe, compassionate, and empowering space where clients can explore their experiences, build self-understanding, and move towards healing and growth.
