About me and my therapy practice
I offer a calm, grounded space where you can take a breath and begin to lay down the weight you’ve been carrying, so we can make sense of what’s yours to hold, and what never should’ve been.
Whether you’re facing difficulties in relationships, processing painful experiences, or unsure where to begin, all of you is welcome: the parts that feel certain, and the parts that don’t.
Through counselling, you can:
- Slow down and reconnect with yourself
- Understand your thoughts, emotions and patterns more deeply
- Develop self-compassion and clarity
- Make choices that feel more aligned with who you are
- Explore and heal from past experiences or trauma
- Strengthen relationships with yourself and others
Practice description
In our work together, I offer:
- A calm, non-judgemental space
- A person-centred, humanistic approach that honours your individuality
- Sensitivity to the wider social and cultural pressures and expectations that shape your experiences
- Support to explore, reflect and make sense of what’s happening in a way that feels safe and empowering
- An inclusive, LGBTQ+ affirming practice where your identity and experiences are respected and valued
In practice, this might mean:
- Being invited to consider questions or perspectives you've never explored before
- Looking at your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and experiences in ways that deepen your understanding of yourself
- Exploring patterns you are reliving
- Consider how we are 'wired' as humans and how this has played a role in your life
- Being challenged in ways that can encourage personal growth
- You might find greater clarity, learn to navigate your emotions with more ease, or reconnect with the parts of yourself that you've lost.

I offer a free 15-20 minute consultation call so you can ask any questions you may have, and decide whether working together feels like a good fit.
