Availability
I have appointments available throughout the week, including weekday evenings and Saturdays.
Starting therapy is an investment in yourself, and finding the right fit matters. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation before booking a first session. It’s an informal, no-pressure chat where you can ask any questions, tell me a little about what brings you here, and see how it feels to talk together.
If you'd like to arrange a call, please send me a short message using the contact form.
About me and my therapy practice
If things have felt heavy for a while and you’re exhausted from carrying it alone, I offer a calm, grounded space to step back, make sense of what you're experiencing and work out what you actually need to move forward.
Reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re used to coping alone or aren't entirely sure how to put what you're experiencing into words. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, navigating past trauma, struggling in relationships or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, there is no "right" or "wrong" way to arrive in our sessions.
How We’ll Work Together
My approach is collaborative, relational and paced entirely by you. I don't sit in silence nodding, nor do I tell you how to live your life. Instead, we work together to:
- Untangle recurring patterns: Understand why certain feelings, doubts, or relationship dynamics keep repeating.
- Process what’s underneath: Connect your past experiences to how you react in the present, easing the weight
- Tune into mind and body: Notice where tension, overwhelm, or stress live physically, helping you feel more grounded day-to-day.
- Develop clarity: Explore fresh perspectives, self-compassion, and realistic tools you can take into your daily life.
My approach is trauma-informed, and we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You will always have a choice in how we explore your experiences and your story.
Training & Experience
BSc (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling & Clinical Diploma – Metanoia Institute/Middlesex University (4-year clinical training)
Certificate in Therapeutic Skills & Studies – Metanoia Institute London
My four-year clinical training was grounded in the Humanistic approach, integrating Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis. Where helpful, I also incorporate practical elements of CBT to support day-to-day coping.
I have worked within the NHS and various charities. I am a neurodiversity-affirming practitioner supporting Autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD clients.
Practice description
My practice is based at The Practice Rooms in Richmond and Putney, with some additional availability in Twickenham.
My rooms in Richmond and Putney are conveniently located in the heart of town, just a short walk from the station, while my Twickenham rooms offer a peaceful setting overlooking Twickenham Green.
Sessions are 50 minutes long, usually on a weekly basis, at £70.
My approach tends to be more open-ended, allowing us to work at a pace that suits you. We'll have regular reviews to ensure you're getting what you need from our sessions and to discuss how you feel the work is progressing.
My first session
To help you decide if I am the right fit I offer a free, informal 15-minute introductory call (phone or online). We can briefly discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you have, and see how it feels to talk.
Send me a brief message or email to arrange a time.
First In-Person Session – What to Expect
The initial in-person session is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss the changes you would like to experience in your life, and talk about your goals, expectations, and needs. It is also a space for you to ask any questions you may have.
We can also explore how we might work together, including the frequency and potential duration of therapy. Some people benefit from longer-term therapy, while others find a few sessions helpful. The process is individual, and we will regularly review what feels right for you and your needs.
After the first session, I encourage you to take a few days to reflect on the experience before deciding whether you would like to continue. Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process, and it matters that you feel safe, comfortable, and understood, and that my approach feels right for you.
Taking the time to decide what feels right for you is an important part of beginning therapy.
