About me and my therapy practice
You may be feeling anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that keep repeating, particularly in relationships or how you relate to yourself. Perhaps life feels difficult to manage right now, or you are navigating change, uncertainty, or emotional distress and are looking for support that fits around your life. Many people choose online counselling when they want professional help that feels accessible, flexible, and private. You don’t need to have everything worked out before starting therapy, online counselling can offer a supportive space to explore what’s happening for you, at your own pace.
I offer online counselling for adults and young people across the UK. I support clients with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, and repeating emotional or relational patterns. I also work with people experiencing life transitions, identity changes, and periods of uncertainty, helping them develop greater understanding and self-compassion.
My approach to online therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and client-centred. I place great importance on creating a sense of emotional safety and connection, even when working remotely. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your individual needs, allowing space for reflection, exploration, and emotional support in a way that feels right for you.
Alongside general online counselling, I have a particular interest in supporting women navigating fertility difficulties, pregnancy loss, hormonal changes, and related emotional or identity challenges. This experience often informs my wider work, especially when supporting clients through grief, loss, or complex life transitions.
I offer confidential online therapy sessions in a calm and supportive setting using secure video platforms. If you are considering online counselling but feel unsure or nervous about starting, you are very welcome to get in touch to explore whether online therapy feels like the right support for you.

My approach to online therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and client-centred. I place particular importance on creating emotional safety and connection when working remotely, ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and supported despite the physical distance. My first session
The first online counselling session
The first online counselling session is an opportunity for us to meet remotely and begin working together in a calm, supportive, and confidential way. It is very common to feel nervous before a first session, particularly if you are new to counselling or unsure what to expect from online therapy. This initial session is designed to help you feel informed, supported, and at ease, rather than under pressure to share more than feels comfortable.
At the beginning of the session, I will explain the counselling agreement, which includes important information about confidentiality, boundaries, data protection, session structure, and how online counselling works. This helps ensure transparency and allows you the opportunity to ask any questions, so you feel clear and comfortable about how we will work together online.
We will also complete an initial assessment during the first session. This involves gathering some background information and exploring what has brought you to online counselling at this time. You may be invited to share about your current difficulties, relevant life experiences, relationships, and how you have been coping. The assessment is not a test, and there are no right or wrong answers, it simply helps me understand your experiences and consider how online therapy may best support you.
Any remaining time in the session is spent gently getting to know you and exploring your presenting concerns. You are welcome to talk at your own pace, and there is no expectation to discuss anything before you feel ready. The session is collaborative and client-centred, with space for reflection, emotional support, and grounding where helpful.
The first online session also gives you the opportunity to see how it feels to work together remotely and whether online counselling feels like the right fit for you. We can discuss next steps and how ongoing online therapy may support you moving forward.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling confused, lost and alone? A smile masks the sadness and fear inside. You feel stuck in an endless cycle of thinking “This is all going to go wrong”. I can help you feel seen and heard, finding calmness, discover ways forward and regain hope.
What can I help you with?
I specialise in supporting women navigating issues around fertility, pregnancy loss, fertility related health issues including PCOS and endometriosis, body image, early menopause and menopause.
These are deeply personal and often isolating experiences and can have a profound impact on self-esteem, identity, and emotional wellbeing.
Fertility, miscarriage, hormonal and menopause struggles can feel all-consuming - feeling as though you’re viewing the world through a bubble of pain or emptiness, while others find it hard to understand or talk about what you’re going through.
I support you to feel heard, understood and calmer. Together we’ll navigate the rollercoaster of emotions.
My work is grounded in both professional training and personal experience.
What is my approach?
I offer a down-to-earth, compassionate approach that honours your unique story. You don’t have to “have it all figured out” to start therapy, whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or simply need space to reflect, we can begin wherever you are.
I integrate creative and body-based approaches where appropriate. These might include visual or imaginative techniques, inner child work, and guided visualisations, especially useful for accessing deeper insight or working with trauma.
I am trained in hypnotherapy, creative therapeutic techniques, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and draw on these tools flexibly to support your goals.
My experience:
I have years of experience working with people, families and children. I have personal experience around women’s health issues and fertility.
If this resonates with you, then get in touch and we can start simply by having a conversation.
Practice description
At Creatively Dreaming Therapy, I offer a gentle, compassionate space for women navigating the challenges of fertility difficulties, pregnancy loss, hormonal changes, or identity transitions. These experiences can bring deep emotional pain, touching your sense of self, relationships, and hopes for the future.
My aim is to walk alongside you with warmth, empathy, and respect, creating space where you can explore your feelings freely and begin to find healing and meaning at your own pace.
My approach is humanistic and integrative, grounded in empathy and creativity. I draw on counselling, hypnotherapy, and creative therapeutic techniques to help you express and process what can sometimes feel beyond words. Together, we may use imagery, metaphor, or gentle creative tools to reconnect with your inner strength and self-compassion.
I understand that everyone’s journey is unique, whether you are processing loss, navigating fertility treatments, adjusting to hormonal or menopausal changes, or seeking to rebuild confidence and connection after trauma.
With over 30 years’ experience supporting others through change and loss, I offer sessions in person and online for adults and young people.
I am a Registered Member of the BACP and the National Hypnotherapy Society.
At Creatively Dreaming Therapy, I believe in empowering change through creativity and compassion, helping you rediscover hope, identity, and emotional balance, even through life’s tenderest seasons.
My first session
The first session is an important starting point for us to get to know each other and begin to explore what has brought you to therapy. It’s a gentle introduction to the process and an opportunity for you to see how it feels to talk with me and ask any questions you might have.
During this session, we’ll spend some time completing an information form together. This includes gathering some background details about you, such as your personal history, key life events, relationships, current support network, and any relevant health information. This helps me build a fuller picture of your world and how best to support you.
I’ll also invite you to share more about what’s led you to seek therapy at this time and what you hope to gain from it. There’s no pressure to explain everything straight away, we’ll go at your pace, and there’s no “right” way to begin. This session is as much about you getting a feel for the therapy process and deciding whether it’s the right fit for you.
You are very welcome to ask questions, about how I work, what to expect from therapy, or anything else you’re unsure about. I aim to offer a calm, open, and non-judgemental space where you can begin to feel safe and supported.
At the end of the session, if we both feel that we’re a good fit and you’d like to continue, we can arrange further sessions together. There’s no obligation to continue after the first meeting, it’s completely your choice.
The first session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at my usual rate of £60.
