About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I am Jenni, a qualified integrative counsellor offering a calm and supportive space for people who feel their current ways of coping or understanding themselves are no longer enough.
I work with people who are curious to explore themselves more deeply, particularly around the patterns they notice in the way they tend to respond to life and their relationships with others.
My approach is grounded in talk therapy and a relational way of working, with shared curiosity at the heart of what I do. Together, we slow down and make sense of your experience as it unfolds, paying attention to patterns, meaning, and what may sit beneath familiar ways of understanding yourself.
We can also explore creative approaches together, if and when they feel helpful or comfortable for you, especially when words are not enough or things feel stuck. This might include drawing, writing, or movement, for example.
I aim to offer a calm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space where you can explore at your own pace, with care and curiosity.
Practice description
I practice Integrative Counselling, bringing together a person-centred approach grounded in the here-and-now, together with a psychodynamic lens - how the past might impact the present.
You do not need to arrive with clear goals for therapy. Many people come when things feel uncertain or when familiar ways of coping no longer feel enough, and find that understanding develops over time as we work together.
Counselling is a space to slow down and make sense of what is happening for you, whether that relates to current experiences, past events, or patterns you are beginning to notice in yourself and in your relationships with others.
Some people come with specific difficulties they want to focus on, while others are looking for space to reflect, understand themselves more fully, or explore what feels unclear. Both are welcome.
Sessions are collaborative and paced to suit you, and we will regularly check in on how the work feels for you.
For creative work, no artistic skill is required.
My first session
My fee is £60 per 50-minute session.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so we can briefly explore what you are looking for and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
Sessions take place online via Zoom and are usually held weekly at a regular time.
Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions before booking.
