About me and my therapy practice

You may look like you're coping on the outside while feeling very different underneath.

Perhaps you've lost someone important to you and are struggling to make sense of life without them. Maybe you're carrying feelings of sadness, guilt, anger, loneliness or anxiety that feel difficult to share. Or perhaps you're facing a significant life change and finding it hard to adjust.

Grief isn't only something we experience after a bereavement. It can follow the end of a relationship, family changes, health challenges, fertility difficulties, retirement, redundancy, changes in identity, or other significant life events. Whatever your loss looks like, you don't have to carry it alone.

I offer a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely listened to without judgement or pressure. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We simply begin with what feels most important to you.

My approach is warm, compassionate and centred around you. Sessions are shaped around your needs, and we move at a pace that feels manageable. Whether you're struggling with grief, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling lost, you are welcome.

I work primarily in a person-centred way, helping you make sense of your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Where helpful, we may explore how past experiences and relationships are affecting you now. I can also draw on creative approaches when words feel difficult to find.

Like many people, I have experienced significant losses in my own life and understand how deeply grief can affect us. This has reinforced my belief that there is no right way to grieve and no timeline anyone should follow.

I work with adults, young people and children experiencing grief, loss, anxiety, emotional overwhelm and life transitions.

Practice description

You don't have to be in crisis to come to therapy.

Perhaps you're struggling with grief after losing someone important, adjusting to a significant life change, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or finding it difficult to cope with everything you're carrying.

I offer a warm, confidential space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely heard. You don't need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. Together, we can make sense of what's happening and explore what you need moving forward.

Grief can affect every part of life. You may feel exhausted, disconnected from yourself, struggling with anxiety, finding it difficult to concentrate, or wondering why you're not coping in the way you think you should. Many people tell me they feel pressure to be "back to normal" long before they feel ready. Therapy offers a space where there is no expectation to be anything other than yourself.

I work with adults, young people and children experiencing grief, loss, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and periods of change or uncertainty.

Therapy is tailored to you. We move at a pace that feels comfortable, with no pressure to share more than you're ready to. My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth and centred around building a trusting relationship where you can feel safe to explore whatever is on your mind.

Whether your loss is recent or something you've been carrying for years, you are welcome to bring whatever feels important to you.

My aim is to help you feel more understood, more supported, and more like yourself again.

Sessions are available online across the UK.

My first session

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so I aim to make the process feel as calm and comfortable as possible.

Before booking a first session, I offer a 20-minute consultation (£20), which can be booked through my website. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions, share a little about what's been going on for you, and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

The first session is a chance for us to meet, talk about what has brought you to counselling, and begin exploring what you might need. There is no pressure to share everything straight away. You're welcome to take things at your own pace.

I may ask a few gentle questions to help me understand your situation and what you're hoping for, but this isn't an assessment or a test. You don't need to prepare anything in advance or have clear goals before we begin.

I'll also explain how I work, including confidentiality and boundaries, so you feel informed and comfortable moving forward.

Sessions are held online and are charged at the same rate as ongoing sessions (£80 for 50 minutes). This offers a private and flexible way to begin therapy from a space where you feel most at ease.

At the end of the session, we'll reflect on how it felt for you and whether you'd like to continue. There is no obligation. The most important thing is that you feel this is the right space for you.

My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, reassured, and a little clearer about your next steps.

About me and my therapy practice

You look like you’re coping on the outside…

but inside, it feels overwhelming, anxious, or just too much.

Maybe your mind doesn’t switch off.

Maybe stress has become your normal.

Or you’re carrying a sense of loss or grief that feels heavy and hard to share.

You might feel exhausted by your thoughts, overwhelmed by everything you’re holding, or like you’re carrying more than others realise.

When things feel like this, it can be exhausting trying to manage it all on your own.

I offer a calm, confidential space where you can slow things down, talk openly, and feel genuinely listened to, without judgement, pressure, or the need to explain yourself perfectly. You don’t need to have everything figured out; we simply begin with what feels most important for you.

My way of working is gentle, supportive, and centred around you. Sessions are shaped around your needs, and we move at a pace that feels manageable. Whether you come with something specific or a general sense that things don’t feel quite right, you are welcome.

I work in a person-centred way, helping you make sense of patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Where helpful, we may explore how past experiences are shaping how things feel for you now.

There is no pressure to find the right words. If it feels right, we can also use gentle creative approaches to support expression.

Over time, many people begin to feel more settled, more in control, and more like themselves again.

I work with adults, young people, and children experiencing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, low mood, and grief.

Sessions are held online. They are 50 minutes and cost £80. I also offer a 20-minute consultation for £20 if you’d prefer a gentler starting point.

If you’re ready for things to feel different, you’re very welcome to reach out when it feels right for you.

Practice description

You might be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure of where to start. Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, especially when things feel hard to put into words.

I offer a calm, confidential, and supportive space where you can speak openly and feel genuinely listened to. Sessions are held online, providing a flexible and comfortable way to access support from a place where you feel safe.

You don’t need to have the right words or a clear explanation. We can begin with whatever feels easiest for you.

Therapy with me is collaborative and shaped around you. There isn’t a “right” way to do therapy, sessions are guided by what feels most important, and we move at a pace that feels manageable. I won’t rush you or push you to share more than you’re ready to.

I work in a warm, thoughtful, and compassionate way to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. For some, talking comes easily; for others, it can feel harder to find the words. Where helpful, we can gently use creative approaches to support expression and understanding.

Over time, many people begin to feel more settled within themselves. Things can start to feel clearer, less overwhelming, and easier to manage. You may find a deeper understanding of yourself, feel more supported emotionally, and develop ways of coping that feel right for you.

I work with adults, young people, and children experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, low mood, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, and periods of change or uncertainty.

At the heart of my work is a simple aim: to help you feel more understood, more steady, and more like yourself again.

If you’re considering counselling, you’re very welcome to reach out when it feels right for you.
