About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor providing support with issues such as, but not limited to: peri/menopause symptoms, neurodiversity, LGTBQIA+ issues, domestic abuse, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, past trauma, loss, stress, depression and anxiety. My approach to counselling is specific to you and what you need in this moment.

I believe in the power of counselling to promote positive mental and emotional well-being, and am committed to working collaboratively with clients, helping you to navigate through life's challenges, improving your resilience, self-esteem, confidence and ability to process difficult times.

Whilst I can support with most issues brought to the counselling space, I am particularly passionate about working with: peri-menopause, domestic abuse and neurodiversity.

Practice description

I offer a step-free counselling space in the centre of Worcester with resources to support neurodiversity & sensory needs. We will work in collaboration to build self-esteem & resilience, providing you with the emotional toolkit to manage difficult times.

Whilst my basis is in person-centred work, I do draw on elements of CBT and psychodynamic counselling, if these are relevant and useful to the client. I may also use psychoeducation; providing information and what I call 'nuggets' to equip clients with further knowledge.

I am currently working with the charity '2Wish', supporting people bereaved of a child or young person. Navigating these tragic losses can turn your world upside-down. I provide a safe place to talk about the pain and challenges around this and support clients to navigate their grief in a healthy way.

My first session

The first session is used to hear your story, get to know you and begin building a rapport. It may feel daunting but we will always proceed at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
