About me and my therapy practice

Hey!

Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. I'm glad you’re here!

I’m Lynsey; a fully qualified, integrative counsellor who currently has over 3 years of experience and a significant amount of hours of real experience – helping real people mitigate real issues. As an integrative therapist I use a combination of different therapeutic approaches to tailor the therapy specifically to you. I disbelieve that therapy has a one-size-fits-all approach, there isn’t a singular method that works for everyone. For this reason, I will use a variety of methods to build a personalised treatment plan specific to you, allowing you to grow and thrive as an individual.

Practice description

What to expect

With experience working with a large scope of issues, whether it be stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse or anything else, whatever you bring to our sessions will always be met with deep empathy and understanding – never judgement. My priority will forever be to provide a safe space for you to feel comfortable in. A space that enables you to explore your own thoughts and feelings freely. I will be there to walk beside you in every step, setback, and stagnancy – together, we will face this journey head on.

My first session

Our first session would be a time to get to know one another and agree to work together. We will discuss any desirable goals and expectations you have from counselling, and of course, ensure that you are happy to continue, and your voice is heard.

I offer a wide variety of counselling environments, without preference. It is your decision. Whether it be face to face, zoom call, and/or telephone sessions - I will be there. These options and preferences will be discussed, whatever makes you most comfortable.

Please get in touch for a free 15 minute consultation call with no obligation to book. First steps can be scary but I will be here without judgment to listen and guide you every step of the way.

Hope you to hear from you soon. Lynsey
