About me and my therapy practice
Therapy for capable women who feel overwhelmed, stuck or quietly exhausted
I’m a qualified Therapist and Coach, working with capable, accomplished women who appear to be coping well, yet feel overwhelmed, self-doubting or emotionally depleted beneath the surface. You may be managing significant responsibility, walking on eggshells in relationships, over-apologising, or feeling disconnected from your own needs. Therapy offers space to pause, reflect and regain clarity and self-trust.
My approach is warm, grounded and non-judgemental. I’m very much a real person in the therapy room — thoughtful, engaged and approachable. Shaped by both professional training and lived experience, I offer a space where you can speak openly without pressure to perform or have it all together.
As an Integrative Therapist, I tailor sessions to your individual needs rather than following a rigid model. Alongside counselling, my coaching background allows us to look forward — rebuilding confidence, strengthening boundaries and supporting meaningful, sustainable change.
Areas I specialise in include:
• Challenging relationships — supporting women who feel diminished, unheard or emotionally drained, including recovery from narcissistic dynamics and the complexities of co-parenting after separation.
• Grief, loss and life transitions — including bereavement, redundancy, divorce and empty nest, offering space to process change without rushing.
• Expatriate and relocation support — helping women navigate the emotional impact of living abroad and major transitions.
I’m committed to helping women regain clarity, confidence and emotional balance, and to supporting change that feels authentic and lasting.
Practice description
I offer therapy sessions online or in person from my comfortable, private sitting room, or a combination of both if that best suits your needs. My approach is warm, calm and professional, and I aim to create an environment where you feel at ease and able to speak openly. Alongside my training, my own lived experience enables me to meet you with openness, honesty and without judgement.
I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is not to advise or direct, but to work collaboratively with you, offering a safe and confidential space to explore your experiences. As an Integrative Counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, adapting our work to support what feels most helpful and appropriate for you.
Therapy can at times feel challenging, particularly when exploring painful memories or emotions. These moments can also lead to greater insight, understanding and the possibility of meaningful change. My aim is to help you make sense of what you are experiencing now and to support you in moving forward with increased clarity and confidence.
I bring compassion, sensitivity and, where appropriate, a sense of lightness into our sessions. The therapeutic relationship is central to the work, and I am genuinely interested in understanding you as an individual.
Above all, my intention is that you feel supported, encouraged and hopeful — and that whatever you are facing, you do not have to face it alone.
My first session
We can start with a free 20-minute online meeting to get to know each other and see if working together feels right for you. If it does, we can arrange your first full session – either online or in person in Wilmslow.
At the beginning, I’ll share my ‘way of working’ document with you, and if it feels helpful we may also do an assessment to understand your needs more fully. From there, we’ll decide together what pace suits you best – weekly, fortnightly or monthly sessions, depending on your circumstances.
From our very first conversation, I focus on building a genuine relationship so you can feel comfortable, understood and confident in the confidentiality of our work. My aim is that you leave your first session feeling supported, cared for and truly welcomed. I work with warmth, intuition and honesty – qualities that help my clients feel both at ease and empowered.
