About me and my therapy practice
Hi I’m Sammi and welcome to my page, Do you feel misunderstood and feel nobody understands you or just not hearing what you are saying!! as a integrative therapist, I believe that every person is unique and I’m here to listen to how you see the world and how you feel I will listen to the challenges you are facing.
I specialise in supporting people with ADHD, stress, anxiety, autism, and depression. You don’t have to face these challenges on your own.
I became a counsellor because I truly believe everyone deserves a safe, caring space to be heard, understood, and supported without judgement. In my private counselling room, I will walk alongside you every step of the way — helping you make sense of what you’re feeling, helping you to recognise your strengths, allowing you to move forward in your life at your own pace.
Being integrated I draw on different therapeutic models and techniques, tailoring our sessions to suit you.
My approach combines elements from several well-established therapies, such as: Person-Centred Therapy, which offers warmth, empathy, and a non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which helps you recognise and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
Psychodynamic techniques, which explore how past experiences may be influencing your present life.
weaving these approaches together, I can adapt to what feels most supportive and effective for you.
Some sessions may focus on understanding your emotions; others might explore practical coping strategies or deeper self-awareness.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship a genuine, trusting connection where you can feel seen, heard, and accepted exactly as you are. Together, we’ll move at your pace, helping you build resilience, self-understanding, and confidence in your own ability to heal.
I will walk beside you every step of the way helping you make sense of what you’re feeling, to find your strengths, to move forward in your life.
Practice description
exploring Anxiety and Depression: We can explore both the immediate and deeper layers of your experience. When working with anxiety, we might use grounding tools to help calm the mind and body, alongside gentle exploration of where worry and tension originate. With depression, our work can include finding ways to ease day-to-day difficulties while also creating space to understand your true self.
For those living with ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence, integrative therapy provides a valuable space to explore the challenges you may face in everyday life. Together, we can work on areas such as maintaining focus, managing time, developing self-esteem, improving relationships, and supporting emotional regulation. Just as importantly, our sessions are a place where you can be yourself.
