About me and my therapy practice

As an Integrative practitioner, I draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor our sessions to you, your experiences and what feels most helpful. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and we can work together to find a way of working that feels right for you.

My aim is to offer you a warm, compassionate space where you can explore what’s happening, process and make sense of your experiences, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and together find a way forward.

Sessions usually take place weekly and last 50 minutes.

Sessions are available in person at our practice rooms in Haslemere, or online via Zoom.

I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy. I would usually suggest that we review how things are going together every six weeks, so that we can make sure our work continues to feel useful and relevant to you.

Practice description

Time and space to explore what’s going on for you:

Perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling to make sense of how you’re feeling, or finding yourself stuck in patterns or roles that no longer feel right. Maybe something from your past continues to affect you in ways you don’t fully understand, or you’re going through a period of change and questioning who you are and what you need.

I offer a calm, welcoming space where you can slow down, unpick your thoughts and feelings, and begin to understand yourself and your experiences with greater compassion.

I have a particular interest in helping people process past experiences, including experiences that may continue to shape how they feel, relate to others, or see themselves. I also work with women navigating significant life transitions, including the perinatal period, motherhood and menopause.

These periods of change can bring up much more than the practical adjustments of a new stage of life. They can raise questions about identity, relationships, expectations, confidence and who we are becoming. Sometimes, the changes happening in the present can also bring older experiences or patterns to the surface. Therapy can offer a space to explore these different layers and make sense of what is happening for you.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come. We can work together at your own pace, without judgment, making space for all the parts of you to be heard.

My first session

I believe that the relationship between therapist and client lies at the heart of successful therapy. I offer a free 20-minute initial call via telephone or Zoom, where you can ask any questions and I can explain how we might work together.

If we feel that working together could be a good fit, we can then arrange your first session.
