I am a qualified integrative counsellor offering a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where clients can feel safe to explore what is going on for them, at their own pace.

My work is rooted primarily in a person-centred approach and informed by attachment theory. I place great value on the therapeutic relationship and on creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood and emotionally held. I believe that change often begins through feeling accepted and met with care and respect.

I work integratively and thoughtfully, responding to each client as an individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. I have experience supporting adults with a range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, life transitions and emotional overwhelm. I also have experience working with neurodiversity and supporting clients to gently explore patterns shaped by early relationships.

For clients who wish to bring their Christian faith into the counselling space, I offer faith-sensitive work that is always client-led, respectful and ethically grounded. Faith is never assumed or imposed and is only explored where it feels meaningful and supportive for the client.

I am committed to ongoing reflection, professional development and working in line with the BACP Ethical Framework. Sessions are offered online in a confidential and supportive setting.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental therapeutic space where clients are invited to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences at a pace that feels right for them. I believe that meaningful change often begins within a trusting and respectful therapeutic relationship, where clients feel heard, valued and emotionally safe.

My work is grounded primarily in a person-centred approach and informed by attachment theory. This means I pay close attention to how early relationships may continue to shape patterns of relating, coping and self-belief in the present. Together, we gently explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, supporting greater self-understanding, emotional awareness and choice.

I work integratively and flexibly, responding to each client as an individual rather than following a fixed formula. Sessions may include reflection, gentle questioning, emotional processing, grounding techniques and practical ways of noticing and responding differently to familiar patterns. Clients are always supported to remain in control of what they share and the direction of the work.

For clients who wish to bring their Christian faith into therapy, I offer faith-sensitive counselling in a way that is respectful, ethical and always client-led. Faith is never assumed or imposed and is only explored where it feels meaningful and supportive for the client.

I am committed to reflective practice, ongoing professional development and working in line with the BACP Ethical Framework. Sessions are offered online in a confidential and supportive setting.

Practice description

My practice offers a calm, confidential and supportive online space where adults can take time to explore what is happening in their inner world, in their relationships, and in their lives. Clients often come to counselling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or carrying experiences that feel difficult to make sense of alone. My role is to walk alongside you with care, curiosity and respect, helping you feel heard and understood.

I work primarily from a person-centred approach, informed by attachment theory, with strong emphasis on the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I believe that feeling emotionally safe, accepted and genuinely listened to creates the conditions for growth, healing and meaningful change. Sessions are collaborative and paced according to your needs, allowing space for reflection, emotional processing and increased self-awareness.

I work integratively and respond to each client as an individual rather than applying a fixed model. Where helpful, sessions may include gentle exploration of relational patterns, grounding techniques, and practical ways of noticing and responding differently to familiar thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

For those who wish to bring their Christian faith into therapy, I offer faith-sensitive counselling in an ethical and client-led way. Faith is never assumed or imposed and is only explored where it feels supportive and meaningful for the client.

My first session

The first session offers an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to explore what has brought you to counselling. It is a gentle, collaborative space where you can share as much or as little as feels comfortable for you.

We will spend some time talking about what you are hoping for from counselling, any current concerns, and a little background where helpful. I will also explain how I work, confidentiality, boundaries and what you can expect from ongoing sessions, so that you feel clear, informed and supported.

There is no expectation to arrive with everything worked out. Many people come feeling unsure, emotional or nervous, and this is completely natural. The first session is not an assessment or a test, but a chance to sense whether the therapeutic space feels right for you.

For clients who wish to bring their Christian faith into the counselling space, this is welcomed in a way that is respectful, ethical and always client-led. Faith is never assumed or imposed and is only explored where it feels meaningful and supportive for you.

If you decide you would like to continue, we can discuss practical arrangements such as session frequency, availability and next steps.

I do not charge a different rate for the first session. Any forms or brief questionnaires, if used, will be explained clearly and completed collaboratively where appropriate.

If at any point you feel unsure or have questions, you are always welcome to raise these.
