Hi I am Tracey. I am a counsellor with a down-to-earth approach and a wealth of life experience. I offer a a personalised approach to each client using various therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of the client. I work various days and hours including weekends, to accommodate the schedules of busy clients. With face-to-face sessions available in Washington, and Newcastle City Centre or remote sessions via video call or telephone.
About me and my therapy practice
I have spent many years listening to and supporting people. I understand how difficult it can be to open up about our thoughts and feelings, especially when we're worried about being judged or having our secrets shared. I'm here to provide a safe, confidential space where we can work together to understand and resolve your issues.
Talking about personal struggles can be daunting, but you can rest assured that I offer a non-judgmental and confidential environment. Your thoughts and feelings are safe with me. It's important to feel comfortable and secure when sharing your innermost concerns, and I'm committed to creating that space for you.
I will accept you for who you are, without judgment. It might feel like you'll never recover from what life has thrown at you. But there's hope. I can help support adults facing challenging issues and I believe that counselling will help you understand yourself and your problems better; and give you knowledge and skills to enable you make the changes you want to make for a happy life.
Practice description
As a Person-Centred Counsellor, I integrate various therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs. My approach to counselling is compassionate and supportive. I'll encourage you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we'll look at your situation from different angles, explore your options, identify areas for self-change, and work towards a resolution which leads to leading a happier, fulfilling life.My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and find solutions.
My first session
I offer a free of charge, 25-minute, introductory session, which gives us the chance to talk about what is bringing you to counselling, what you hope to gain from counselling and ensure that we would feel comfortable working together.What I can help with
