About me and my therapy practice
When we work together, it is important that you feel like I am the right person for you to work with. Our first meeting/chat will be to help us get a sense of each other and establish an appropriately supportive connection. Sometimes people don't gel with counsellors for any number of reasons. That's why these first meetings are so important. We'll both get a feel for whether working together seems suitable.
I work with curiosity and compassion for understanding you and your experiences. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor. I have trained in a way that allows me to flexibly blend different counselling styles. These are: Humanistic Counselling, CBT and Psychodynamic Counselling.
My priority as your counsellor is to provide a safe and secure place where you can authentically explore and express your thoughts, emotions or experiences. I aim to help you feel seen, heard and supported which can help internal changes become possible.
