I work on a flexible basis across the week and the weekend, days and evenings.
I can meet either in-person or online. In-person appointments can be arranged at rooms in Islington. I also work outdoors offering sessions walking on Hackney Marshes and for those with mobility issues I also offer home visits.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Benjamin and I am a Gestalt counsellor and coach providing one-on-one therapy and coaching to adults and to groups. I offer therapy sessions face-to-face in Islington and Hackney, London and online. I also offer therapy and coaching sessions in nature on Hackney Marshes throughout the year.
Practice description
Life can present us with challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about our path forward. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, workplace stress, identity questions, or the ongoing effects of major life changes, therapy offers a unique way to explore and understand your experience. I offer a warm, accepting space for you to explore any issues that are troubling you.

My first session
The first consultation with me is free and usually lasts about 20 minutes. This session provides space to share what's led you to seek therapy and express any hopes, worries, or expectations you may have. Whether this is your introduction to therapy or you've engaged in it previously, there's no prescribed approach - I'm here to understand your individual circumstances and work with whatever you bring.
This initial meeting also serves as an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little and begin building rapport. It's an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach and I'm happy to explain how I work. I find that therapy flourishes when built on a foundation of trust and mutual respect, and a space where you feel free to be authentic.
