About me and my therapy practice
Is your life 'fine' on paper, but strangely unfulfilling?
Maybe you seem to have it all together as the reliable friend, the supportive partner, the 'easy' colleague who never says no. Inside, however, you’re exhausted from the constant people-pleasing and the weight of never feeling quite good enough.
We can explore why things feel so unsatisfying together. I work with care, compassion, and curiosity to understand what is going on behind the scenes. With a conversational approach to therapy, I help people to stop going through the motions and start figuring out what's holding them back and what they really want.
This includes looking at things such as:
- Why your self-esteem depends on being 'good' for others
- Why saying no makes you feel anxious
- Why prioritising your needs is difficult
- Why you feel depressed, numb, or resentful despite 'having it all'

About me and my therapy practice
I work with thoughtful adults and couples who want to understand themselves more deeply, not just learn quick fixes. My approach is warm, conversational, and grounded in psychodynamic therapy — a style that helps us explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns may be shaping how you feel and relate today. Together we can think about what’s been holding you back and create more room for choice, connection, and change.
I often support clients struggling with anxiety, people-pleasing, grief, self-doubt, and relationship difficulties. Whatever brings you here, we’ll work at your pace, with curiosity and care.

My first session
As a first step, I offer a free-of-charge consultation call. In this brief conversation, we will determine whether I can help you and, if so, arrange an assessment session.
In the assessment session, I will ask enough questions to get an understanding of what brings you to therapy. If we decide to proceed, we will start weekly sessions, whether you'd like to come to my office in Enfield or meet online.
