I do not offer sessions during weekends or bank holidays. Any planned periods of leave will be communicated to existing clients in advance and alternative support options will be discussed where appropriate.

Please note that I am not able to provide crisis support. If you are in immediate distress or require urgent help, please contact your GP, local NHS services, or emergency services, or reach out to organisations such as Samaritans (116 123).

About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative psychotherapist offering a warm, attuned, and trauma-informed approach to counselling and psychotherapy. I work relationally and collaboratively, with a strong emphasis on safety, consent, and respect for each person’s pace.

My work is Compassionate Inquiry–informed (based on the work of Gabor Maté) and integrates attachment theory, somatic and polyvagal perspectives, and parts-based (IFS-informed) approaches, within my scope of training and supervision. These frameworks inform how I listen, how I understand emotional patterns, and how I support clients to make sense of their inner experiences without judgment or pathologising.

I work with adults and young people experiencing anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, and low self-esteem. Many of my clients describe feeling overwhelmed, deeply self-critical, or disconnected from themselves, often in ways shaped by earlier life experiences.

I offer online therapy and work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework, engaging in regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.

Practice description

Attuned Inquiry Therapy is a calm, supportive space where you are invited to explore what is happening for you in a way that feels manageable and respectful. Therapy here is not about fixing or forcing change, but about understanding your experiences and developing a kinder, more trusting relationship with yourself.

Sessions are guided by your needs and readiness. You are never expected to talk about anything before you feel ready, and there is no pressure to go into detail or revisit difficult experiences unless it feels supportive to do so. We pay attention to thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns, and where appropriate, may also gently notice body sensations or nervous system responses. Any body-based or experiential work is always optional and introduced carefully.

This practice is particularly suited to people who find traditional talking therapy difficult, feel easily overwhelmed, or have struggled to feel understood in other settings. I work in a neurodiversity-affirming way and welcome clients who identify as sensitive, neurodivergent, or “too much” or “not enough”.

Therapy is offered online on a weekly basis. I do not provide crisis support, and clear boundaries are maintained to support safe and ethical practice.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and explore what has brought you to therapy, while also giving you a sense of how it feels to work together. Many people feel uncertain or anxious before a first session, and there is no expectation to know exactly what to say or where to begin.

This session is a full 50-minute appointment and is charged at the same rate as ongoing sessions. It is not an assessment in the clinical or diagnostic sense. Rather, it is a collaborative conversation focused on understanding your current difficulties, your hopes for therapy, and any previous experiences of support.

I will ask some gentle questions to help build a picture of your circumstances, including relevant background information, while remaining mindful of pace and safety. You are always free to decline any question or to slow things down if needed. There is no pressure to share more than feels manageable.

We will also cover practical matters such as confidentiality, boundaries, how sessions work, and what support might look like going forward. By the end of the session, we can discuss whether continuing to work together feels appropriate and what next steps may be helpful.

No preparation is required before the first session. Any forms or information needed will be shared in advance, and these are kept proportionate and relevant to your care.
