About me and my therapy practice
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or quietly struggling, you don’t have to face it alone.
I’m Lynn - a qualified, BACP-registered counsellor offering a warm, supportive space to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
I work with children aged 6 and over, and adults, offering sessions online (over 18s only for online/phone) and face to face. I currently have flexibility for online sessions, which can be a gentle and accessible way to begin therapy - especially if this is your first time. Online sessions allow you to talk from a familiar, comfortable space, at a pace that feels right for you.
Face-to-face sessions are available on a more limited basis.
I provide a non-judgemental, accepting environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. My approach is predominantly person-centred, meaning our work is led by you. There’s no pressure to know what to say or where to start - we’ll take things one step at a time.
Clients have described me as down to earth, relatable, and easy to talk to. You don’t need to have everything figured out - just showing up as you are is enough.
Alongside my counselling work, I have 16 years’ experience working in education with children of all ages and hold a teaching qualification, which gives me a strong understanding of the challenges children and young people face.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work ethically, safely, and with genuine care. I work in a way that supports you to live your best and most authentic life through self-discovery.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer down-to-earth, honest support that’s grounded in real life - not jargon or complicated theories. Our work is centred on real conversations that help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and find ways forward that feel right for you.
I work with children and adults aged 6 and over, offering an accepting and inclusive space where you can be yourself. My practice is firmly rooted in empathy, lived experience, and understanding, and I have experience supporting neurodiverse clients and people exploring identity, sexuality, and self-expression. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.
Clients often appreciate that I’m relatable, approachable, and easy to talk to. There’s no pressure to fit into a box or use the 'right' words - we’ll work at your pace, in a way that feels natural and supportive.
I offer face-to-face sessions from my office at Ransom Wood Business Park, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, as well as UK-wide online or phone sessions via video (WhatsApp or MS Teams). If texting feels more comfortable for you, we can work that way too.
For clients local to Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire, I also offer Walk and Talk therapy, combining counselling with the grounding benefits of being outdoors.
