Availability
I offer online therapy with some flexibility on appointment times through the week, from 7am to 7pm, with some very limited weekend availability.
I currently have space to be able to start sessions within one week of your enquiry.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer down-to-earth, honest therapy. No jargon, no over-complicated theories- just real conversations that help you make sense of what’s going on and figure out what actually helps (not just what sounds good in theory).
This is a space where you don’t have to perform, find the 'right' words, or pretend you’ve got it all together. You can show up exactly as you are - whether that’s overwhelmed, overthinking everything, or not even sure why you’re struggling in the first place.
I work with adults from all kinds of backgrounds, including neurodivergent clients and people exploring identity, sexuality, and self-expression. I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I aim to offer a space where you don’t have to edit yourself to feel accepted.
I’m straightforward, approachable, and human. You can ramble, swear, go off on tangents, or sit there not knowing what to say - we’ll work with whatever shows up, at your pace.
Sessions are online across the UK via video (WhatsApp or Microsoft Teams) or phone.
And if the idea of being on camera makes you want to suddenly 'lose WiFi,' you’re not alone! We can keep the camera off, stick to phone sessions, or find something that feels a bit less painful.
Online therapy gives you flexibility, privacy, and the chance to do this in a space where you actually feel comfortable and no awkward waiting rooms required.
Practice description
Hi, I’m Lynn.
If you’re here, something probably isn’t feeling great right now. Maybe your mind won’t switch off, you’re overwhelmed by everything (or nothing in particular?!) or you’re just tired of feeling like this but not sure what to do about it.
That’s usually where people start.
I’m a BACP-registered counsellor, but I won’t speak to you like a textbook. You don’t need to have it all figured out, and you definitely don’t need to say things in a certain way. You can show up exactly as you are: overthinking, stuck, frustrated, unsure… all of it.
I offer online counselling for adults across the UK, which means you can do this from your own space - no rushing to appointments or pretending you’ve got it together on the way there.
My approach is person-centred. In real terms, that means this is your space and we go at your pace. I’m not here to lecture you or 'fix' you. I’m here to help you make sense of what’s going on, challenge things when it’s helpful, and support you while you figure out what actually needs to change.
Some sessions will feel like a relief. Some might feel a bit uncomfortable, and that’s OK and normal. Growth isn’t always neat or tidy (annoying, I know).
I work in a straightforward, non-judgemental way. You can swear, go off on tangents, say “this sounds stupid” ten times in a row...I’ve heard it all, and none of it is a problem.
If you’ve been thinking about getting support for a while but keep putting it off, this might be your sign to stop overthinking it (just a little)
You’re welcome to get in touch, whether you’re ready to start or just want to ask a few questions first.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and let’s be honest, introductory phone calls aren’t everyone’s thing, and if unknown numbers make you suddenly 'busy' or mysteriously lose signal, I get it.
I do offer (if you want it) a free 10–15 minute no-pressure call. Just a quick, informal chat so you can ask questions, get a feel for me, and see if it feels like a good fit.
No pressure, no awkward small talk, and no obligation to continue. If it’s not right, that’s completely fine.
What I can help with
Anxiety, Depression, Identity issues, Neurodiversity, Self esteem, Sexual identity, Trauma
Types of therapy
Brief therapy, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Solution focused brief therapy
Clients I work with
Adults, Trainees, Young people
How I deliver therapy
