About me and my therapy practice
As a child you learnt to cope by shutting down, staying competent, not letting feelings get in the way. Maybe you were sent away and had to cope on your own. Then, later in life, something gave. Anxiety hit. Grief surfaced. Relationships got shaky. The old “hold it together” strategy didn’t work for you anymore.
If you recognise that what’s happening for you might be because you had to grow up too soon, leaving parts of you behind, counselling can help you explore how those early adaptations shaped your life, and you can begin to meet yourself with understanding rather than judgment. Life can be more than just surviving. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and paced to support you in feeling safe enough to open up and experience genuine emotional connection.
If this resonates, you’re welcome to get in touch to see whether working together feels right for you.
Practice description
I offer counselling by online video, telephone, in-person and offer home visits in the Chichester to Havant area.
When we work together, the focus is on you and your experience. Sessions are a confidential, calm space. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns at a pace that feels safe, helping you gradually uncover a sense of self that is more authentic, grounded, and yours.

Availability
I have recently started offering in-person counselling from some cosy rooms in Chichester City Centre, close to rail and bus links and public parking.
I currently have availability for new clients during the day and evenings and at weekends.
About me and my therapy practice
I support adults with anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, workplace stress, and neurodivergence-related challenges. If you’re feeling stuck or finding things hard to manage, therapy can help you make sense of things and feel more grounded.
As an ex-boarder, I also work with people affected by the long-term emotional impact of boarding school.
If you'd like to explore counselling, you’re welcome to book an introductory call or get in touch by email or text.
Practice description
My approach is humanistic, which means we focus on you, your experiences, and your feelings. I believe every person has the capacity to grow, understand themselves, and find solutions that work for their life.
In our sessions, I listen deeply, reflect what I hear, and support you in uncovering insights and making changes that feel right for you.
You guide the pace, and I create a safe, non-judgmental environment for exploration.
My first session
Your first session is a chance to get to know each other and understand what brings you to counselling. We’ll talk about your goals, what you’d like to explore, and how counselling can support you.
There’s no pressure, and everything we discuss is completely confidential.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear idea of the next steps and whether you feel comfortable continuing.
