About me and my therapy practice

I’m Lana, a neuro-affirmative BACP‑registered integrative therapist based in Southeast London and working with adults in-person and online. My own colourful and complex journey is what led me to this profession, and I understand what it means to feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or weighed down. I offer warm, confidential support for anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, loss and grief, identity questions and the impact of past experiences.

Before retraining as a counsellor, I worked in the corporate world, which gives me a deep understanding of high-stress demands faced by professional and the pressure of juggling every part of life and trying to do it all.

My approach is down‑to‑earth, relational and collaborative. You don’t need to censor yourself or worry about being judged - you can bring your humour, anger, sadness or confusion; all parts of you are welcome here.

My integrative way of working draws from a range of therapeutic perspectives so we can tailor sessions to what feels most supportive for you. Although the basis of my practice is person-centred, I also draw upon my knowledge of a range of counselling models - CBT, psychodynamic, mindfulness and creative methods, when words alone don't feel enough and when these methods  feel helpful or grounding. This blend allows us to move naturally between emotional depth and practical strategies, shaping each session to what you need in that moment.

Practice description

Therapy with me is steady, grounded and relational. I aim to create a space where you can finally exhale - a place to feel heard, supported and understood as you make sense of what’s happening in your life.

I support individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and with many different challenges, including:

  • Anxiety and Stress
  • Depression and Low Mood
  • Trauma
  • Life Transitions
  • Perinatal Mental Health and Parenting
  • Neurodiversity
  • Identity and Culture
  • Loss, Grief and Bereavement

As a neuro-affirmative therapist I support neurodivergent adults and parents wishing to better support their family members - whether formally diagnosed or self-identifying.

In our initial consultation, we will explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the work. From there, we shape the process together - whether you’re seeking short‑term support or longer‑term exploration. My aim is to offer a calm, confidential space where you can bring whatever you’re carrying and begin to feel more grounded and connected.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation where we can talk about what you're looking for and whether we'd be a good fit.

Your first session then is a relaxed, confidential conversation to further get to know each other. During the session we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy now, a little background to give me a broader sense of your concerns, your hopes for therapy, and any practical needs or access considerations. Before we begin I will explain fees, the cancellation policy, confidentiality and session logistics.

I invite you to get in touch today and take that first step towards healing, self-discovery, and long-term emotional wellbeing.

Next step: if you’d like to book, please complete the contact form and I’ll confirm current availability or visit my website for further information.
