About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Dickie, an integrative therapist and counsellor based Online, Clerkenwell, Angel and Hackney. If you’re here, you might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward.

I know how scary it can be to reach out for help. I’ve been there too. Therapy can feel daunting, but it can also be one of the most empowering steps you take for yourself.

The therapy I offer is integrative and relational, which means I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Instead, I draw on a range of therapeutic models (including psychodynamic, person- centred, attachment, gestalt, and somatic work) and shape the process around you as an individual.

At the heart of this work is our relationship. Therapy isn’t something that happens to you, it’s something we do together. I see the therapeutic space as a place where you can explore who you are, experiment with new ways of relating, and begin to understand patterns that might have felt fixed for years.

Practice description

My practice offers a warm, non-judgemental space where you can bring whatever’s troubling you, whether that's feeling lonely, isolated, anxious, ashamed, or simply sensing that life could feel different.

Together, we’ll explore what’s happening for you, gently untangle old patterns, and find new ways of relating to yourself and others. Therapy can help you reconnect with your feelings, build resilience, and move towards a life with more ease and meaning.

My first session

When you get in touch, I offer a free 15–20 minute consultation online or by phone. This is a chance to share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask questions, and see if working together feels right. There’s no pressure to commit and it’s simply about finding a good fit.

If we decide to continue, we’ll arrange a first full session at my standard session fee. I treat this as a gentle starting point rather than a formal assessment. I may ask some questions about your history and hopes for therapy, but we go at your pace.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming, as many people just know something needs to change. The first session is about creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you can bring whatever’s troubling you and begin to feel supported. Together we’ll decide whether short- or long-term therapy suits your needs.
