About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Olly, and I am a qualified Humanistic Counsellor. My way of working is rooted in the Person-Centred approach, which focuses on creating a supportive relationship that fosters your personal growth and well-being.
In our sessions, I will aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space. We will hope to build a trusting environment in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings; past, present or future, facilitating a deeper awareness and understanding of self.
Practice description
While my primary focus is on Person-Centred therapy, I also integrate elements from Existential and other Humanistic theories to enrich self-understanding and reflection. This allows for a more comprehensive exploration of your experiences and challenges.
I have experience counselling individuals facing a variety of issues and challenges. These include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, neuro-diversity, substance abuse, sexual abuse, identity questioning and GSRD (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity) related challenges.
I conduct face-to-face sessions from private rooms in Portsmouth. Each session is 50 minutes long. The counselling is open-ended, allowing you to decide how long you wish to engage for.
My fee is £55.00 per session. I also offer an initial 20-minute phone session, free of charge, to discuss our suitability for working together and address any questions you may have.

During our first session I will ask you to fill out a working agreement containing contact details etc. This will take around ten minutes.
