About me and my therapy practice

Welcome

Life can feel heavy or confusing, especially when you are carrying more than others realise. If things feel lost or stuck, therapy can offer a chance to pause, make sense of what is happening, and reconnect with your true self. Reaching out takes courage, and even looking for the right therapist is already an act of care.

I am a fully qualified, BACP registered therapist offering in person or online sessions, whichever feels most comfortable for you. I trained at The Minster Centre in London, one of the UK’s most respected integrative counselling and psychotherapy institutions. Alongside private practice, I also work in the voluntary sector, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds.

My background in business, charity, and care, together with the challenges I have navigated personally, helps me understand the pressures and transitions that life can bring. I draw on both lived experience and therapeutic theory to offer support that feels grounded, practical, and meaningful for your goals. Life is colourful and complex, and this is a non judgemental environment where we can explore what matters with openness and honesty.

Everyone is welcome. Whatever your identity, background, or life story, this is a confidential place where you can speak freely and feel understood. Many people describe therapy as a chance to find clarity, resilience, and a sense of something lighter during times of change or challenge.

If it feels like the right moment to reach out, I am here.

Practice description

You matter, we work at your pace and I listen, I am honest with you but never judgmental.

My approach is integrative and person centred, grounded in the belief that therapy works best when it feels real, collaborative, and human. I offer a steady, thoughtful space where you can explore what is happening for you at your own pace. The relationship we build is central to this work, a place where you can be met with empathy, curiosity, and acceptance.

In our sessions we pay attention to patterns in your life, how you relate to yourself and others, and the feelings that arise in the moment. We will jointly shape the work and move towards the goals that matter to you, adjusting the focus so it feels supportive and right.

My first session

If you are considering therapy, it is completely normal to feel unsure about taking the first step. Even a short conversation can help you feel a little clearer and give you a gentle sense of whether this might be a place where you feel understood and supported.

I offer a free 20 minute online or telephone consultation so we can talk about what brings you to therapy, what you might need, and get a sense of how it feels to work together before making any commitment.

I would be delighted to hear from you.
