About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative psychotherapist offering a calm, steady and respectful space for your personal therapeutic work. Together, we can talk openly about what’s on your mind, taking into account the many areas of your life and emotional experience. My practice is welcoming to people from all walks of life.
As an integrative counsellor, I adapt my approach to suit your individual needs. I draw on a person-centred style that allows you to move at your own pace, and a psychodynamic perspective that helps us understand how past experiences may shape your present challenges.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 20 years working in music and arts education, where I developed a deep appreciation for creating a supportive environment that respects each person’s strengths and circumstances. I also have experience working with the LGBTQ+ community through arts projects and work with wellbeing and mental health charities.
I trained at the University of Westminster (Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling – Level 7) and am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I also hold a PhD in music from the University of London.
A limited number of reduced-fee spaces are available.
Practice description
I offer sessions online or in person, and we will move at a pace that feels appropriate for your individual needs.
These sessions provide a space for working through challenges such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, loss or major life changes. Many people come feeling uncertain, stuck, or overwhelmed, and appreciate having a reliable environment where they can pause, reflect, and consider what is most important.
You can expect to be listened to and treated with care. Our work may involve conversation, practical reflection or simple creative exercises such as drawing or guided visualisation if they are helpful and comfortable for you. My aim is to support you in understanding your experiences, managing difficult emotions, and gradually moving toward greater clarity, balance, and a stronger sense of yourself.
My first session
In our first session, the main aim is simply to get to know you. I provide a calm setting where you can talk about what has led you to seek counselling. We will discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and what you feel you need at this time, without any pressure or expectations. I will explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and together we can decide whether this approach feels right for you. From the very beginning, my goal is to create a safe and trustworthy environment where you feel heard, understood and supported as you begin your counselling process.

Practice description
I am available online or in-person, with the pace guided by your individual needs.
The sessions are a warm, inclusive space for navigating anxiety, low mood, trauma, loss or life transitions. Many clients come feeling uncertain, stuck or overwhelmed, and find a supportive environment to pause, reflect and explore what matters most.
You can expect to be heard and valued. Sessions may involve talking, reflective exercises or creative approaches such as drawing or visualisation, depending on what feels right. The aim is to help you make sense of challenges, sit with difficult feelings and gradually move toward clarity, balance and a renewed sense of self.
