About me and my therapy practice
I'm an integrative psychotherapist offering a calm, supportive space for your unique therapeutic process. Together we can explore what is on your mind, in an open, honest way that includes any aspects of your life and emotional world. My practice is inclusive and welcomes people from any background and life story.
As an integrative counsellor, I work in a way that suits your individual needs. I combine a person-centred approach to empower you to go at your own pace in a non-judgemental, empathetic space, and a psychodynamic approach in which we can explore how your past experiences influence the present.
I have worked in music and arts education for 20 years and believe in providing a nurturing space which encourages each person’s uniqueness and individual path. I also work with the LGBTQ+ community, facilitating art projects and volunteering for several charities.
I trained at the University of Westminster (Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling - Level 7) and am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I also have a PhD in music from the University of London.
I offer a free 20 minute introductory consultation (in person or online), to discuss what brings you to therapy and see if we are a good fit.
I have a limited number of reduced fee slots available.
Practice description
I am available online or in-person, with the pace guided by your individual needs.
The sessions are a warm, inclusive space for navigating anxiety, low mood, trauma, loss or life transitions. Many clients come feeling uncertain, stuck or overwhelmed, and find a supportive environment to pause, reflect and explore what matters most.
You can expect to be heard and valued. Sessions may involve talking, reflective exercises or creative approaches such as drawing or visualisation, depending on what feels right. The aim is to help you make sense of challenges, sit with difficult feelings and gradually move toward clarity, balance and a renewed sense of self.
My first session
In our first session, the focus is simply to get to know you. I offer a gentle, welcoming space where you can share what’s brought you to counselling. We’ll explore what you’re hoping for from therapy and what you feel you need right now, without any pressure or expectation. I’ll explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and together we’ll get a sense of whether this feels like the right fit for you. My aim is to create a safe, trusting environment from the very beginning, so you can feel heard, understood, and supported as we start your counselling journey.
