About me and my therapy practice
You may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself or your relationships. Perhaps you are navigating identity, expectations, or emotional patterns that no longer feel sustainable.
Here you will find a warm, non-judgemental space where all aspects of who you are are welcomed with care and respect, and where your story can be explored at your own pace.
My practice is integrative and relational, drawing on psychodynamic, person-centred and embodied approaches. Together we may explore how past experiences and relationships shape how you feel today, while also paying attention to your present-moment thoughts, emotions and bodily experience.
I hold a PGDip (Level 7) in Psychotherapy and Counselling with Gender, Sex and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) accreditation, and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
The core of my work is LGBTQIA+ affirmative, kink-aware and anti-oppressive. I have particular experience working with people exploring sexuality, gender and diverse relationship structures, as well as BDSM and fetish communities.
Therapy with me is a space where all identities are welcomed without judgement or pathologisation, and where the wider social contexts shaping your life are recognised.
I support clients who are:
- experiencing anxiety, low mood or disconnection
- exploring identity, sexuality or gender
- part of the LGBTQIA+ community
- navigating relationships or non-monogamy
- involved in kink or BDSM communities
- struggling with shame or self-criticism
- facing burnout, pressure or life transitions
Practice description
Healing isn’t a straight line it’s a messy, brave, beautiful path back to yourself.
Therapy is meaningful work. At times it can be challenging, but it is shared work, held within a safe and confidential relationship grounded in empathy and curiosity. As understanding grows, so too can resilience, clarity, and self-compassion.
Together, we attend not only to your words, but also to tone, pace, body sensations, images, and metaphors, the quieter, non-verbal ways your story may show itself.
This isn’t therapy as quick fix. It is a space that honours nuance and the fullness of human experience, allowing your process to unfold at your own rhythm, with gentleness and depth.
Many people find that having a dedicated space to talk and reflect becomes both an act of self-care and a source of healing.
Therapy can support you to:
- feel more grounded and connected
- understand patterns and relationships
- reduce anxiety and overwhelm
- navigate life transitions
- strengthen your sense of self
- relate to others with greater confidence
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute initial phone or online call. This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy and to consider whether working together feels like a good fit.
Our first full session provides space to explore in more depth what has led you to seek therapy at this time, as well as your hopes or expectations for the work. This initial session also allows us to get a sense of how it feels to be in the therapeutic space together and to discuss any practical aspects of ongoing sessions.
Sessions are 50 minutes and my fee is £75. A limited number of concessionary spaces are available; please feel welcome to enquire.
